Review of Recent Surgical Experience with Dr. Le, Baltimore-Washington Facial Plastic Surgery - Ellicott City, MD

I am extremely pleased with the outcome of a recent surgical procedure conducted by Dr. Le of Baltimore-Washington Facial Plastic Surgery, and am very happy to provide a review of this experience.

As a teenager some 40 years ago, I broke my nose in a ‘rough-housing’ accident. I have never been particularly pleased with the visual effect of the break and followup surgery to realign the nose. Moreover, the substantial loss of bone structure during post-accident surgery resulted in a partial collapse of the nasal passages, which has contributed to audible sniffing when inhaling.

Forty years later, I decided to explore possible treatment for my condition. On the advice of a local physician, who felt that Dr. Le was the most qualified to deal with the functional and aesthetic concerns of my nose condition, I scheduled a visit with Baltimore-Washington Facial Plastic Surgery. During my preoperative meetings, Dr. Le provided an extremely thorough treatment assessment during which the physical ‘baseline’ condition of my nose was established, functional and aesthetic concerns were identified, and potential treatment alternatives were addressed, including probable outcomes and associated risks. I was highly impressed with the visual technology images used to support these assessments. I also found Dr. Le very willing to discuss aspects of the treatment and respond to any followup questions and concerns I might have. I was particularly impressed with his attention to detail, and his personal commitment to attaining the most positive outcome achievable.

The demands of my professional and personal schedule made it difficult to schedule a block of time for surgery and followup recovery. However, the office staff at Baltimore-Washington Facial Plastic Surgery were very accommodating in addressing my scheduling needs and other concerns.

My experience with the actual surgery and post-operative recovery was very positive. Following a relatively short recovery period, I was back to most of my normal activities. I now enjoy less restricted breathing, and am pleased with the more natural contours of my nose.
