Ellacor - My Biggest Beauty Regret
I got an Ellacor to tighten my jowls and smooth out a festoon/bag/ pouch under my right eye. It was intense (15+ face block injections!) with a month downtime and cost $4,800.
3 months later, my festoon is worse, I have an additional festoon on the left, I have puckering on the corners of my lips, my jowls are more noticeable, and my skin is blotchy with pink scarring, hyperpigmentation and broken capillaries and becomes like an orange peel when I am cold.
My Dr. agrees I'm worse than when I started and feels bad so offered me laser treatments for the splotchiness and filler to try and fill in the empty pouch that I was left with and hopefully improve the new one on the left both with the very real possibility of making things worse.
Ellacor has aged me at least 5 years and when you’re 55 that's a lot. I can use makeup to help camouflage the splotchiness but not very effectively and it makes my festoons look way worse. I hate to look in the mirror and my friends agree I look haggard.
If you’re considering Ellacor you may want to opt for more effective treatments like Ultherapy and the SC Halo.
