Best snap decision I ever made. I needed to find a PS to do my 14 year old breast implants as I was extremely conscious that the 10 year warranty had passed and moreso one of my breasts had dropped below the muscle that was holding it which made me hate them.
I researched a few Drs in London through Tatler PS Directory and on RealSelf and settled with Dr Paul Banwell.
I had a small timeframe to get my op done before other personal commitments got in the way so when I called the office, the staff were immediately accommodating and understood my reasons and set up my consultations and day of op straight away, I was that confident! I can be spontaneous at times but this paid off for sure!
I had one consultation in London and one at his office in East Grinstead where the op would take place. Everyone was really kind and helpful and made time to talk to you and a brief tour as to where I'd be going. (My previous ops have been in 2 London hospitals which were awful (service, unclean and stiff uncaring staff) and way below par compared to this one.)
I welcomed the change from inner London although getting there took 1.5hrs, which I had no problems with.
I had 320cc (34D) and after op I'm now 34F. I couldn't be more happier with the results.
We decided to go for larger breast that could fit for my frame. He couldn't get the 500cc in so settled for the 450cc. My breasts are so soft and dropped straight away. I previously had the implants under the muscle.
This time I went over the muscle and must say why-
* One of the implants had dropped below my muscle leaving a crease on one of my breasts that looked unsightly.
* I go to the gym (not as often as I should) and hated when I tensed my arms or body and the muscle would spread the implant which made me conscious and uncomfortable when it happened and looked weird having your breasts spread or warp.
I wanted a natural look. 14 years ago 'under the breast was best' motto was the prey of the day as implants did not come with many options on coarseness and tear drop etc and was advised that under will stop breast sagging. But times have changed!
* Reduction of pain. It's no surprise that if you go under the muscle, you will be in bed for a few weeks feeling as if a lorry has run over your chest. I couldn't afford this downtime to lose so this ultimately was another tick in the box for over the muscle.
* I have a child (7 years old ) who did not know about the op so having them around straight away the day after would be tricky and didn't wish to look too sore, dependable and restrictive of movement.
I'm still slightly sore and now have reached the 3 week mark so can remove tape under breast crease.
I'll put a photo up in due course, and to add my husband loves them!

I no this is old but can I ask if you are still happy with your over the muscle implants ? Also what shape Implant did you have ? x

Apologies for getting back to you so late. I'm still happy with over the muscle implants. They still look more natural even though they have dropped slightly.. which I prefer instead of the tight perk looking types which I personally do not like the look of.

Was so relaxed and made to feel welcome at the clinic. Was such a cold day, I changed off and relaxed. Room was clean, tidy and neat. The menu/food was absolutely amazing and was displayed like a Michelin restaurant- very impressive. Couldn't have asked for more...
That's great your revision went so well and that you already love your results! Congratulations! That's nice you won't have to worry about the breast deformation when you're at the gym in the future.
