Earlobe Reduction and Botox for a Man

I honestly didn’t think I would ever visit a plastic surgery office, but as I’d gotten older the length of my earlobes had begun to bother me. I didn’t know what could be done; as a man I keep my hair shorter, so there really wasn’t a way to disguise them. And I feared they would just continue to get longer as I aged. I visited with Dr. Burgess and she was very professional and put me at ease right away. She explained the surgery and what to expect. After my consult, I came back for the procedure which was pretty quick and easy. My stitches came out after a few days and I didn’t need anything more than some Tylenol. The best part was that none of my extended family or coworkers really noticed I had had anything done. I barely notice them now, whereas before they bothered me every single day. While I was there for a follow up, I also looked into Botox. I know quite a few women that have had it, but not any men. I have noticed that my frown lines have gotten stronger with time. But I still wanted to look like myself and be expressive. And I really didn’t want everyone to know. I had Botox with one of the RNs. She explained everything to me and how I wouldn’t be too frozen with the Botox plan we made together. I actually really like the results and I’ve gone back a second time and plan to go again when my current Botox wears off. I’m really pleased with the treatments I’ve had with Dr. Burgess and her staff and I would highly recommend for anyone considering an upgrade.
