Yay! It's been 1 week!

I'm so happy that I made it through the week! Still have discomfort, but feeling better! Sleeping is still really uncomfortable and most nights I wake up a few times. I'm sleeping sitting up but not as high I was told to do it after surgery and I don't have to anymore, but feels better to be some what elevated. When I get out of bed my boobs feel really uncomfortable and I have zinging going on. I've started doing dishes and did a load of laundry...I hope that's ok. But definitely not lifting my 2 year old, which is a bit challenging at times! But we're getting through it! :) We told our kids I hurt my back and can't lift for 6 weeks so the older ones have been helping when not at school. So that's been nice. My bruising is slowly getting better on my left side around the incision. I'm pretty homebound because I can't lift my 2 year old in a shopping cart so that's a little frustrating but it's fine.... I'm supposed to do gentle massage... Just kinda side to side and up and down movements morning and night. So glad everything went well and I'm on the other side now! Just have to be patient with this healing time! :)

Hematoma???
BeachLover614January 6, 2018
I'm getting really nervous! My bruising is worse today than yesterday- just a little, but I'm still freaking out a little! :( I even went into the office 2 days ago and he didn't even look at my incisions/bruising! It's 11 pm on a Friday night, so I'll call tomorrow morning and see if I can get a hold of anyone. Does anyone have experience with hematomas?! I just read about them tonight and it really sounds like that's what I have... :(

Bruising around incision
BeachLover614January 6, 2018
Is it normal for the bruising to get worse around the incision??

Comment removed per user's request.
Yes, I had the same incision location, under, both times. The pain is WAY more manageable the 2nd time around!! On my 1st BA I went under the muscle which was SO painful! It felt like a truck was on my chest for a good few days (not sure exactly how long because it was 16 years ago) and my stomach muscles and arms muscles were SO sore! I couldn't even pull down or up my pants so my mom had to help me use the bathroom. LOL I loved my surgeon, and didn't have any complications for the whole 16 years with my implants. But I'm wondering if they have better methods now that don't hurt as bad. Anyway, they told me that re-augs are way less painful because they don't have to cut the muscle because it's already been cut. But, when switching from saline to silicone they sometimes need to cut a little more of the muscle (which they had to do on me) because the silicone are prefilled and the saline aren't. You probably didn't go under the muscle then, huh?
My surgery was on Tuesday at 11:30 AM and today is Saturday (not sure if I should call this day 4 or 5??) and I didn't take any pain pills I definitely have discomfort and feel tight and have twinges of pain now and then but I went to a couple stores and walked around. I did get really fatigued and my shoulders were sore but it was nice to get out. I only had a 1/2 a Percocet last night before bed and didn't have any other pain pills yesterday. I tire really easy hoping that will go away soon! I'm really wanting time to speed up so I can get working out again!
