After doing a lot of research on plastic surgeons in my area I chose to book a consultation with Dr. Shortt in the fall of 2019. He took a lot of time to explain the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions. I felt confident with Dr. Shortt and booked my surgery for December.

My pre op with Cari was easy, she was thorough and patient with my concerns.

I started getting really nervous a few days before my surgery and was super nervous the day of. Was I making the right choice, what happened if something went wrong? I went in to the clinic and all of the staff put me at ease. I met with Cari, my anesthesiologist and finally Dr. Shortt before my surgery with any last minute questions and concerns. My surgery was three hours long, went well and I was home that night recovering.

I really never had any pain and never required the pain meds. For me, I felt better walking around (bent over) rather than being in bed. By day 4, I was able to go with my daughter and get some groceries.

All of my post op appointments went well and I am lucky that I was able to recover really quickly. My results are beyond my expectations and 4 months post op, I feel like they will keep getting better. Dr. Shortt did an amazing job with sculpting my tummy and my belly button looks really natural.

Having this procedure done was the best decision I could have made for myself and I am grateful to Dr. Shortt for making it happen. Anyone who is considering having a tummy tuck, do your research and you won't be disappointed.

I’ve had a couple of requests for a before and after photo. The after photo was taken at my three month post op. I probably should have kept taking more photos as I feel like I am getting more definition with the sculpting Dr. Shortt did.
