It has been a while since I posted. If it weren’t for a request I probably wouldn’t have as life gets in the way sometimes but I am always happy to help someone when and where I can. This site has helped me with the thousands of questions I have had before and after my own procedure. So here goes my updated pictures???? just came from the gym so pls excuse the mess. lol.

Tape off! 4 weeks
Took my tape off this morning as instructed last week. Scar looks amazing! Just have one tiny little hole on my right side. Emailed nurse with a few questions but haven't had that particular question answered? So for now I used polysporin and a bandaid.

Your incision looks soooo good! Loving the shape you're taking! Congratulations you look great!!
Thank you I am so happy with my incision and how low it is. Just can wait for the swelling and numbness to go away.
Oh the lovely swelling and numbness. I'm STILL experiencing both. It's a long process.
Oh and I had a couple small "holes" like that and it ended up being spitting sutures irritating me. Once they pulled them out (didn't hurt) it healed right up!
I covered it with a bandaid making sure it wasn't sealed so It could get some air and didn't have direct contact with my binder. Seems to be healing well. It was a suture.
That's great! When I saw my first "hole" I panicked since I've seen so many actual holes on here that look really scary. I was so relieved when I found out it was just a suture
Yes I panicked too. I see so many major infections. I wasn't going to be one of those and let it ride before I asked for help
That's exactly what I said!!! Better to be safe than sorry.
Your incision looks awesome and your waist is coming in! Hope that little hole is better by now and you’ll post updates soon! Good luck and happy healing!
Thank you. I'm so pleased with it. It's getting better. I'll post again soon. Tomorrow I'll be in my 6th week. Binder will be coming off tomorrow as well as instructed unless i do strenuous activity.
Hi Ness7171. Just saw your review and wondered how you are doing. I had drainless TT with MR (no lipo) on September 6, 2017. I have had no seromas or wound problems of any kind. By all accounts, I’ve been blessed. I’ve only had minimal swelling since the beginning and I absolutely love my results. My PS is amazing and incredibly talented. But, I am having some concerns and wanted to ask someone who experienced the same surgery. I am now 3 months post op and I have a constant pulling feeling that extends from my sternum to my incision and also a feeling that something is pressing down on my stomach. The only way I can describe it is if someone set a dinner plate over my belly button and then set a large brick on the plate. I can stand straight, I can walk long distance and do stairs and I can breathe without difficulty. I’m not in actual pain but it’s just a constant feeling of discomfort that literally doesn’t go away and that I am always aware of. Lying down at night is the worst. My body cannot relax and I have interrupted sleep. PS gave me Valium but it doesn’t do anything. I am also still very numb and still unable to feel my belly button at all. I guess I just need some reassurance that I am okay and that the sensations I am having are normal for 3 months post op. I just want to see if anyone else has experienced what I am experiencing or if I need to start getting concerned. Anything that you could share would be great. Thanks! Your pictures look great! :)
Hi Sd,
No I have not experienced any pulling like u described at all. Did your ps say what the pulling was from? I would assume it was from sutures if you had a drainless tummy tuck. I am still numb around my scars but can still feel, does that make sense? I am back at the gym doing all but an work. I would be concerned but if your doctor told u that was normal I would try to relax. Maybe it’s just from the muscle repair?
All but AB* work ;)
would you mind sharing a picture of your belly button now that you’re 100% healed?
I wouldn’t mind at all :) but I would say I am 100% healed. I am 6 month PO doing normal everyday stuff. working out, all but I am not doin any direct abdominal exercises. I haven’t had the go ahead from my ps and truthfully I don’t want to. I must say I’m a little scared to. I’ll post some new pics.

Made it this far! Still improvements everyday.
Suture removal today at 3 weeks po. There was nothing to remove. They had all dissolved! One more week with tape on my incision. Then I can add an earplug in my belly button to open it up. 3 more weeks to wear my binder unless Ido strenuous activity. At 6 weeks i can return to the gym!!!

Your results look amazing!!
I am scheduled for Dec 20th for TT and BA. We have very similar body's. I workout and now and left with a flap from pregnancy that I just can't seem to loose. I have abs under the flap and can't wait for it to be gone too!
Maybe because I am European too! Lol.
Yes I knew I had abs under my flap as well and now I look like I had felt all these years. The only frustrating part right now is I cant work them out and still having to be careful to not lift too heavy because I feel pain in my abs when I do. I still have fat (weight )to loose and determined to do so! My first day back at the gym yesterday! Wearing my binder not lifting heavy at all...and I can run! I go to Orange Theory fitness which is pretty intense and spoke to the trainer. They are giving me alternate Exercises in place of ab work. Will update pics soon. Been Crazy busy since I have my mobility back.
Congrats and good luck on your tummy tuck!! So worth it!
Thanks! I’d love to follow our progress. I’m so excited but super scared to go under. I have 3 kiddos, so this procedure is super scary but I know so rewarding at the end. Good luck with getting back the gym. The gym will be so tough because I workout 6-7dats a week also .
I was super scared as well. But I knew I would always regret it if I didn’t go through with it. It is scary and a tough recovery. But yes you said it Sooooo worth it! I love my new tummy!! Gym has been better than I thought. It’s hard NOT to be able to work on my abs but my butt is getting the extra attention now!! Lol. Blessing in disguise ;). Sending u positive vibes !
Thank you!!
