Drainless Tummy Tuck, 100% Worth It

I shopped around for a doctor to fix my mommy tummy for a long time. I actually really preferred a female doctor for this procedure and did consult with one. She did not do drainless tummy tucks so I decided to consult with Dr. Vath since that is a tummy tuck procedure he does. He also has such great reviews (for a reason). When my husband and I initially met with Dr. Vath, I was honestly surprised how comfortable he made me feel. I ultimately chose him and had the procedure done on January 9th, 2020. 

I was one of the unfortunate ones who ended up with a complication. A large open wound on my incision that I had to pack. It’s important to note that as with all surgeries, complications happen sometimes. Even if you do everything right. This as well as your final result is something you should consider when deciding on a surgeon for such a big surgery. 

I had heard the horror stories about surgeons being impossible to reach when complications arose and treating their patients like a nuisance when this happens. Dr. Vath was most definitely not one of those surgeons. He kept a very close eye on my wound while it healed and checked with me often to make sure my well being was ok. He was sincere and compassionate through the whole process. It did heal eventually and the scar was really big and thick once the wound healed and closed. He just completed my scar revision surgery yesterday. I have a follow up appointment with him next week. 

This doctor gets 5 stars plus from me because not only are my results absolutely amazing; he showed nothing but compassion, professionalism and an obvious dedication to making sure I had the best results throughout the entire process. Dr. Vath cares about his patients and is an absolute artist at his craft. My tummy now looks beautiful. Despite my rough road to recovery it was 100% worth it.
