Feeling incredible! Went on vacation wore a bikini and felt so comfortable. My stomach was the last thing on my mind, in the past I was always concerned how it looked or the way I was sitting. Not anymore! I am back to working out 4-5 times a week including cardio, weighs and abs. When I work my abs I feel so much stronger than in the past. I do still have a slight amount of numbness from my belly button to my incision line, it is only noticeable when I press in that area. My incision is starting to fade and thin. I feel that it is lighter at my hips and working it’s way in. I am still hesitant to shave so close to my scar. A day doesn’t go by that I am looking at myself in the mirror and smile because I am so happy!

Late updating, pictures were from 3 days after my 8 week PO mark. Been feeling great! Swelling has gone way down, only have swelling when I eat very salty things. Sensation is about 80%. Still occasionally have the feeling of my old stomach which is weird! Tend to take precaution when sneezing. My incision is feeling very thin, some spots I can’t even feel the incision it is so smooth. I am still sticking to my scar treatment routine. I am very happy with my decision and don’t regret it one bit!!
6 Week Update
I am a little late posting but the pics are on the exact date, 6 weeks PO. I can't believe it has already been 6 weeks! I feel fantastic, I have stopped wearing my binder completely, I have zero discomfort unless I wear certain pants for an extended amount of time or sit for very long duration. I do still notice my scar feels dry if I don't maintain my regimen between lotion and or oils, I do live in a very dry climate. I am back to all my regular activities, workouts and life in general except I have not tried any type of ab workouts as I was just cleared to start at my 6 week PO date. My appetite is still not back to normal, I tend to notice I don't feel hungry very often or nothing sounds super appealing. I'm still eating regularly but I do feel full faster. Honestly I think there has only been two times since my surgery that I said WOW that sounds so good. Not sure why that is. I also notice my body handles salt much differently, I feel like my entire body is swollen with any amount of salt consumption. But as for actual swelling it is pretty minimal, again depends on what I wear and eat but all in all I barely notice it. I did have a strange feeling the other night, while laying on my side, it felt like I could feel the extra skin hanging again. Of course when I rubbed my stomach it still felt tight and flat, I am guessing I only had that feeling because I am not totally use to my new body if that makes any sense at all. My energy level is probably around a steady 90-95% percent and climbing. I have 5 more weeks before I will be putting a swim suit on but I am feeling very comfortable about it and kind of excited!
