Just a warning...

Turkle says she places implants sub muscular but she only goes under 1 of the 3 muscles. If you ever plan to go larger in the future you’ll bottom out. Go elsewhere!!!

Boobs by Turkle - Look elsewhere.

Here are my photos taken by Dr. Zollman before my surgery with him. These pictures are my “after” from Turkle, just a few days less than 9 months post-op. I didn’t realize how bad they were until I had someone do a good job on my boobs later. I also didn’t realize just how snooty and downright rude Dr. Turkle and some of her staff were until I went to Zollman. It’s no wonder I didn’t end up on her website - these aren’t good results. I had no guidance at all choosing an implant size or profile and when I asked for a larger implant than the one I got I was told no by email with no explanation. Anyone can tell these implants do NOT suit my body and high profile at a low number of ccs was a poor choice. I am short but square built and needed a wider implant base. When I asked Turkle for advice she said it was all in my opinion and if I want upper pole fullness I could go with high profile. There was no recommendation or talk about what base width was best for my body or anything of that sort. The nurses act like it makes them uncomfortable to talk about boobs. My husband and I sat there with the nurse’s back to us, with her silently clicking between low profile 300 cc and high profile 335 cc on the Vectra 3D imaging. I didn’t even realize there were other base width/profile options because no one explained anything to me. Dr. Zollman on the other hand immediately had a recommendation to balance my body and accentuate my shape. He had no problem giving me straight advice and a range between ccs he expected to work with my body! If you’re considering Dr. Turkle, my advice is to go to at least one or two more consultations. Some names I’ve heard good things about are: Zollman, Fata, Wagner, Eppley. If they take you straight to a room to pay for your surgery at the end of the consultation (Turkle), just say that you need some time to think about this permanent change to your body and will call back to schedule. I’m eager to please and this was hard for me at the time; I didn’t think about what to do if I felt pressured. I scheduled right away feeling uneasy but that it was my own fault - like I was missing something obvious and was a “stupid” patient. If you’re like me, plan ahead what you’ll say to defer the scheduling and payment until later. At Dr. Zollman’s office I was given a card and told I can call anytime I’m ready to schedule with no rush. After my surgery, I called the after hours number and Turkle talked down to me and yelled without technically yelling (you’ll know what I mean if you’ve seen this side of her). She’s downright rude when she thinks you’re an inconvenience or that there might be a problem and she will always make you feel like it’s your fault. I was afraid to even be honest while writing my other review during the time I was still going to post-op appointments because I knew I had to keep facing her. I tried to keep seeing the bright side and believed this was all me.
Dr. Zollman achieved what Dr. Turkle didn’t for me. The boobs in this picture look like two half-baseballs glued to my chest and covered in skin. No thank you. You can see my other review about my experience with Dr. Zollman, which is separate from this one. Lastly I wanted to add that I didn’t appreciate being barraged by Turkle’s staff constantly trying to sell me expensive products and procedures at every SINGLE post-op appointment, by text and by email. As if the $6,500+ I just paid her wasn’t enough. I’m honestly at peace with the situation now, I’ve learned so much about myself and have come a long way personally. I’ve learned to speak up for myself, I’ve learned not to put my faith in awards and fancy furnishings but instead in my own gut feeling, and most importantly I’ve realized that I deserve respect; even from a wealthier-than-me plastic surgeon from Carmel. I hope this helps someone. Some people say they have amazing experiences with Dr. Turkle and that’s wonderful. I, however, did not. And I just wanted to share my story now that I’ve been on the other side as a patient of a different plastic surgeon and have now had two totally different experiences and (thank God) two totally different results. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk about either experience.

Current boobs - one week left with these itty bitties

Like I mentioned - Turkle is great for very modestly sized boobs. I’m looking for a larger result and have gone to Zollman to achieve what I’m looking for. March 4 I’ll be saying goodbye to these bitty boobies and will hopefully almost double my size.
