Breast Augmentation with Natrelle Breast Implants for this 33-year-old Woman

Patient presented after bilateral mastectomy and wanted to pursue breast reconstruction. Due to the fact that most of the skin had been removed at the time of the mastectomy, she underwent two-stage reconstruction with placement of tissue expanders first to expand the breast space. She then returned to the OR 2-3 months after the expansion was completed for removal of tissue expanders, placement of shaped silicone implants, and fat grafting for improvement of shape and contour.

Her chest wall deformity caused her breasts to take on a more square and underdeveloped shape. I did a breast augmentation creating more space under the breasts for the implants to round our her breasts giving them a more natural round shape. The implants were placed under her chest muscle to create a more natural shape as well.
