I'm so proud of all of you that had successful eye brow lifts. Unfortunately mine is not the same. I appreciate all input, however. I even had and have deep holes beside my eyes, indention near temples. I have had to see not only dermatologist, but see eye doctors for my eyes. I was told he was afraid I was going to loose my right eye. I had to have surgery to sew my eye half way together to try and save this eye. I went to eye doctor for years and still seeing one and also dermatologist. So you can see my story is not the same.

I used the same idiot for facelift 9 years ago. Been in misery ever since because of a bad reaction to sutures he used. They were plastic! Theses sutures are embedded in the muscles in my face. I have a pus filled sore for 8 years now and the creep can't find it after he cut a big hole in my face. I hatend him for it.

I am writing this review only to help others whom are going through the exact same problems I am having after 10 years . My scalp itched right after surgery and still to this date still itching. I have spent a fortune on my head. I can't get in the sun because my scalp begins to feel like ants biting me and severe burning. I have an infection every two months and have to take antibotics/cortisone injections traced with pain medication. I have almost lost my mind, but listen ladies if you listen to the different doctors you seek for help, they will tell you it is just "imaginary". I can't count the times doctors have told me this even though my scalp is blood red, lumps, hair is missing, lesions are oozing with yellowish fluid. I do not believe my pain will ever end. The doctors tell me there is no way I could be having these symptoms after 10 years. They even make me feel so inferior. My scalp bleeds and still hurts me the same as it did when procedure was first done. I have lost all my respect for the doctors who make so light of my condition. I just recently went to Birmingham, AL hoping maybe a neurologist there could help me but instead I went away with my head between my legs, I believe he actually wanted to send me to a facility for the insane. Sorry ladies no help for my scalp insight. By-the-way I did have the endotine w/posts also.

So sorry to hear that.. Is this procedure similar to forehead reduction aka hairline lowering surgery?

I have a eyebrow lift w/posts. Mine has been very painful and I would never have anything like this again. I feel that it has taken 10 yrs. from my life. Most of my hair has fallen out just on one side, explain that? Noone can! Thanks for your input.

Did you have an endoscopic brow lift? This does not sound normal. How do you sleep and function? Are you able to work? Can you see a neurologist? I am praying that you get the help you need.

Cindy, no I do not function normally. I awake about every 2 hrs. while sleeping, have to put a compound cream on my head, it helps by numbing the area. Yes, I saw a neurologist in Birmingham, AL he referred me to the Chief Plastic Surgeon for him to remove whatever it was that is in there. Thank you for praying for me and pray for the doctor that did my surgery.

I'm so sorry about your scalp condition. What about a dermatologist? I have scalp issues, too (though haven't had a brow lift). I use Clobetasol liquid every other day (my dermo says your scalp won't thin like the skin on the rest of your body with topical steroid use) and it helps SO much.

Yes, I have been seeing a dermatologist for years. I've went from nerve damage to imaginary. What is moving around in my head is not imaginary! Thank you so much for your reply, I will try the Clobetasol liquid , do you need a prescription or on the shelf, I would imagine a prescription, but that is ok too. Again, thank you for your input.

Please do not think clobetasol is going to help! That is very unlikely. People do not understand that this is a Nerve problem. It is not a dermotological problem. I had a brow lift 10 years ago also and my scalp itched so bad afterward also. Scratched most of my hair out. Tried all kinds of treatments even Kenalog. Nothing works. Nothing.
Pressure or heat to the scalp always exacerbates the problem. It may someday subside but it may not. No rhyme or reason why some people react this way to the cutting and some don't. I totally understand the ordeal though.

All the best
