Honestly I'm happy I didn't do the lift. I'm pretty happy with my breasts and I don't think the scar would have been worth it. The only regret is that I wasn't able to have the thigh lipo. I'm still considering having it done. I wish I could go back to Dr G but it's highly unlikely. I'm researching some US doc's.
My RH was ok. No huge complaints- but I was lucky that I had a great sx buddy. We took care of one another. If I had the funds I would have stayed at Arelis. From reviews she seems like the best out there

Deluxe Harmony. My personal pros and cons.
Pro- Nancy and Mabel. Especially Nancy - she takes wonderful care of you. You never feel like a stranger always felt very welcomed in their home.
Food: no set time to eat/ you eat when your hungry - they will even ask you what you want. If you have special dietary concerns let them know ahead of time and I'm sure they will try to accommodate them
Clean- the house is cleaned daily - sheets changed and they will even wash your clothes
Cons- the bathroom showers aren't the greatest. Water is cold and there is not much pressure. It wasn't a major concern because you can only shower before sx. If you want to shower after they will buy purified water. I decided not to- just did sponge cleaning and washed my hair in the sink. There was also a problem with the toliet in my room not flushing properly. Nancy always fixed it and hopefully now that they know about it they have had it professionally taken care of.
Power will go off - this happens throughout the dr luckily they have a generator so electricity still works for fans and outlets- AC doesn't work during a power failure - but honestly they didn't last very long.
Noise- again I think this is a problem in the dr. You are not on a busy street - actually a gated community but there were dogs barking and it got loud. Bring earplugs or have a white noise app for your phone.
For the price I paid I feel it was a good deal. But I was also fortunate to have a wonderful sx buddy to laugh with and we helped each other a lot.
I think if I were to go back I would choose Arelis. She is more expensive but I have not read any reviews that showcase anything negative

I meant thin, darn autocorrect. I'm getting close to surgery date. Can't believe it! I'm very excited to say the least. I'll be updating my journey sometime soon. So glad to see you're doing well. Do you find yourself eating less since you had your tummy tuck done?

In the beginning I could hardly eat. That lasted about a month. Right now I'm trying to eat healthier- but I'll admit that sometimes I fall back to my old ways. I watch the scale pretty regularly so if I'm up more than 5lbs I get upset and I get back to eating clean. I'm exercising a lot more and that helps.

That's good information to know. I just have the issue of having to eat a lot more than ppl expect because it takes so much for my stomach to feel full. Looking forward to cutting my grocery bill down and eating less. I've never owned a scale but I may buy one at the end of the year.

I'm so sorry to read about your husband having cancer. I hope he fights vigilantly and is victorious.
I'm looking forward to the lifestyle change big time. I have 3 farms where I can get fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the year at affordable prices. I really eat as much as a grown man which is frustrating. I have to if I want to be full. Otherwise an hour max 2 later my stomach is growling like I had nothing at all. I'm looking forward to showing my kids a healthier more active lifestyle too. Thank you so much for the tips and input. It's sincerely appreciated. Makes me excited.

Just saw this, sorry. I wanted to get it done before summer because it's much too busy for me to go then with my little one. But that never happened. So I will go when school starts up again w Dr. G. Your more than welcome to join if you wanted to get the thigh lipo. I'd love the company!
