Update on my blood count
My surgery date is soon approaching. My blood count is not were it needs to be yet. My hemoglobin is getting there but I'm only at 11.5. Going this weekend to start b12 injections, hopefully I can get it past 12 in 2 weeks. Been taking 2 iron tabs twice daily along with my other vitamins. This is the only time I can do my surgery until next year. Hopefully everything works out. If anyone has any pointers please help me out...

Low hemoglobin
Went to my primary doctor last week. Just found out my Hgb. is only 10.5. My surgery date is one month away. Is it possible to get it to 12.7 in one month. I planned for this surgery. This is the most convenient time for me, with work, child care and recovery time. Don't want to wait another year..... The good thing is it was 8.9, three months ago. I am currently on a whole bunch of vitamins and iron supplements. My doctor told me to come back 2 weeks before the surgery and we will see how we stand. Anyone has any suggestions on what to do. By the way I have always been anemic, 10.5 is a great accomplishment for me, but I'm striving for better. Anyway I need help, don't wanna turn back now.
