Hey Ladies, I'm fairly new to this site but I have seen enough and decided that Dr. Duran is the perfect doctor to assist me in my transformation. I just received my confirmation date for surgery March 18th, 2015. I'm so anxious. I went through alluredr and Angeliz Moran assisted me with a quote, $200 deposit that is applied to your quote, connection to one of three recovery homes. I will be staying at 'Silhouette Recovery Home' from March 17 to March 29. This is what I was sent from Angie (director) from Silhouette Recovery Home:
The recovery home fee is
$100/day per person for a single room
$85/day per person for a double room
$75/day per person for a triple room
and this includes :
24hr care
3 meals a day
Fresh fruit juices
AC
Cable,
WiFi,
Free international long distance calls
Hot water
Every bedroom has a private bathroom and walk in closet.
We fill your prescription for you, pharmacy delivers to the house.
Backup power generators in case of power outage (which is a given in DR) lol..
Transportation to all pre and post office visits included in your rate.
Help with all your needs while recovering like bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting medication on time, putting on faja etc...
Washing of your garment only.
Massages are $30 each and masseuse comes to the house.
This is on a 9th floor penthouse and you get a full panoramic view of the whole city!!! Elevator included!
Airport transportation is an additional fee of $50 each way
A$100 deposit per person is required to reserve a room. Deposit is nonrefundable but is transferable. And will be deducted from the total which is due upon arrival. Cash only.
I didn't see a website for the home. I hopped onto Facebook and got all the info and reviews I needed.
I'm so excited! And also looking for a sx buddy if anyone is going around/near my date. I'm traveling from NYC. I will be documenting my journey (I document everything lol). I'm a super open book. Hey Ladies,
As promised, I'm keeping you updated on every single detail on my steps to becoming a Duran Doll.
Here is how it all began after becoming impatient (I'm a very impatient person lol) waiting for a response from Dr. Duran. Since I have desired a surgery date during the first quarter of the year. I needed to get my date and start preparing immediately (in my head). I know myself and I will most definitely "think" myself out of this idea of surgery.
I then contacted alluredr.com. About a day and half later, I was contacted by Angeliz from AllureDr with quotes from Yily and Duran along with general details such as pre op and post op instructions.
After searching for more reviews on RS, I definitely stuck with my original choice "Dr Duran". So I requested more info to book a date in March. Angeliz found an open day in the week that I requested.
I then sent my deposit via PayPal. I picked my recovery home (it was the only one out of the three that had an available room during my dates)..soon after Angie from Silhouette contacted me via email with more information about her home. I was nervouse because she replied pretty fast and she replied as if I had already chosen her place to recover at. So I found her on FB and went through her reviews and pictures. I didn't hesitate then to request more info. I sent her the $100 deposit to secure my time there via WU.
Now that I have everything in DR booked for my stay, I feel like I want to gain a little weight just so I have more than enough fat to transfer to accomplish the look I'm going for.
I don't know my hemo level, so I scheduled an appt with my PCP for next Sat, Jan 3rd. Hopefully I'm okay because the less I have to worry about the better.

Oh okay..thanks for the heads up. I Just sent Angeliz an email. Hopefully I hear back from her soon. I hope everything before they stopped is still a go because I'll still go up there just to drag someone for my money :) The fact that you received a reply is a good sign, I guess..thanks again.

Lml I contacted Duran and the Allure, just awaiting a response. And you were right, when I checked their site, Duran was off the list of surgeons.

Lol, I think everything will be fine. Apparently Elizabeth Durans Assistant posted something on IG that made Alluredr look shady... So they decided to sever ties.

Hey Hun, I got a response back from Allure Consultation. I booked through them before this whole scandal begun between them and they terminated their contract with Duran, so my date is still good.

Hey thanks for the update. That's good. I contacted them too & duran. I didn't expect her to respond tho lol but Angeliz told me that my date was still good. So I'm happy we still got our dates!

AllureDR.com No Longer Provides Quotes For Dr. Duran

Just an update. Allure Consultants does not provide quotes from Duran anymore. I posted two recent convos with Angeliz, confirming this. Thankfully, I was booked before the termination of their contract. So back to planning I go. Good Luck to everyone trying to get a quote and a date locked in. I read good things about BellaVitaConsultants.com the only reason why I didn't go with them from jump was because I believe you have to send them the deposit before you get a quote and I didn't have to do that with Allure.

Angeliz said one of Durans assistance posted something on FB that made Allures clients question their authenticity, so they terminated their contract with Duran.
I counted on a third party getting the quote for me because 1. I'm inpatient 2. The doctors are busy 3. The language barrier 4. The doctors rely on these agency's to book them (I know the doctors office get overwhelmed).

No. Insurance is $130. Post op medication is $150. 1 garment is included in quote.

Hey just a heads up, they are not Doug surgery the week of spring break which I believe is the week of March 30. I wanted have my surgery on that week too. I confirmed this when I called her office.

This price excludes the cost of medical insurance and post-operative medications. The medical insurance is a requirement and its purpose serves to ensure that you are covered in the event that you will need to be transferred to a local hospital in case of an emergency.
The cost of this insurance is $130 USD.

The patient is responsible for reserving their flight and stay. I recommend that my patients stay at a recovery house to ensure they are receiving the proper care during their recovery. Please reserve your stay and send me the details of your choice upon confirmation of surgery. You will need to be in the Dominican Republic for at least 10 days.

I think both doctors give practically the same results so I was like "well, who's name do I like most? Duran or Yily? Damn I like Duran, sounds strong and American. Welp Duran it is!" Lol And it turns out that I was speaking to my cousin last week, I finally told her my plans to go to DR to get work done. She just got back from DR from getting a tummy tuck and she told me that our cousin got work done by Duran. And she looks great! When I asked her why she didn't get her TT done by Duran, she told me she had made an appointment but she didn't want those "dramatic" results so she cancelled with Duran. But she need a touch up so she is now considering Duran. She's a big girl so she needs a part 2.
