Supplies you'll need for Surgery :)

Ladies, I created this list for us specifically that's relooking to go abroad for surgery, literally every item on this list is needed!!!!!! There's not one item that I did not use.

Mallol is amazing

Hi ladies!!! I am back home from Santo Domingo and here's my experience :) So while I have the strength and the time, let me tell you ladies about my experience at the clinic. SX was 7/6/17So they advise you to arrive at 6am sharp for surgery, but warning, that does not mean you'll be having it at 6am. I didn't go under until about 6pm and I came out around 11pm. I was awake the entire surgery. I received an epidural and anesthesia, but as they were doing lipo in my upper back I had to scream and move my fingers realllly fast to let them know I was feeling it! My upper body and arms were not fully numb, so they gave me some more dope and I was just fine :) once they were done, and I got back to the room, I threw up a bunch of times, but it wasn't a lot, only like a little spit, which is normal. This went on until the morning. In the morning I received 2 blood transfusions bc I was feeling really dizzy and unstable, after receiving the blood I was fine. I got back to the recovery home at about 8pm last night. Ladies, you definitely need an overnight nurse, no question about it!!! The nurses in the clinic are wonderful FYI, but they are taking care of everyone and also, they don't speak any English so they will not understand you when you're trying to explain what Is wrong. They only understand pain, vomit, and umm I believe that's it lol Also it is very cold!!! You'll need to have a blanket after SX. This is all I can think of at the moment, feel free to ask any questions I may have forgotten :) I keep falling asleep lol

My SX date is 7/6/17, I will update throughout my journey :) Dr Mallol is absolutely amazing, my biggest concern was safety, as soon as I met him I felt comfortable and secure with the decision I had made. He will not sell you a dream, Mallol will let you know realistically what can be done and what he is willing/it willing to do depending on your health and body. I am back home now and he has followed up and helped me with all post op questions and concerns.
