Dr. Kay Update regarding NO REFUND
I wanted to share a follow up with all of you- After many weeks- Dr. Kay continues to refuse any type of refund but instead asks me back in for continued work on my face. Again, this is not about shoving more filler in my face, it's about the initial visit and not receiving the correct placement for what I purchased. In addition, I have a girlfriend who also went to Dr. Kay and I just found out that her experience was close to the same when she went in for under eye filler. She had no results and during her treatment, she was asked if it were ok that the ladies do a tiktok while treating her. She had 4 people in the room dancing while get treated. This place is money hungry and unsatisfactory. I will continue to deal with this with my bank.
Money Wasted
I sadly have to agree with the negative reviews below. I had been following Dr. Kay for a couple of months, watching her IG lives and researching her work on her posts. I'm 39 years old and started to notice that my temples we're a little sunken in and my jowls needed a tiny lift. I signed up for her "specials" she promotes and purchased a package that was $3,250.00. When I arrived there was a bit of a wait, but I feel that's normal in this industry. There were people everywhere, they seemed stressed and patients that were waiting longer than me, were complaining and rescheduling their appointments.
As I waited in the room for Dr. Kay, Nurse Shima came in and I addressed my concerns to her. She then asked if she could start on my temples because Dr. Kay was running behind. The issue with this is, seeing Dr. Kay vs Nurse Shima they hold different pricing. Nothing against Dr. Shima's work but I paid to see Dr. Kay. ( For that I'm due a partial refund). Once Dr. Kay came in, I then addressed my concerns to her and why I was there. She mentioned that my jawline and cheeks were already defined and the filler was basically not needed. I asked what I could do to fix the issues that bothered me and she continued to put filler into my cheeks for a lift that was already there and along my jawline which was not needed.
When I asked what the purpose was of the filler she advised it would help my issues. My appointment was on 10/22/21 and as of today, 12/3/21, there is not one change in my appearance. I feel as if I paid for water in my face. For $3,250 I would hope to see some result as that is a lot of money to just go to waste. I'm extremely upset and disappointed. I reached out and asked for a refund, and they asked that I come back in to re-address my concerns and put more filler in my face which I dont want to just keep putting filler in my face.
At this point I just want a refund because I feel I got shammed and taken for 3 thousand dollars. I agree that her practice is catered towards influencers and or the people that allow her to video and take photos of. I started a dispute with my bank in hopes to receive my money back but it would be nice if they'd honor my refund because it's the right thing to do. My advice to all of you is to do your research and be careful before you spend a large amount of money.
