Feeling a little bummed

I know the nurse said to give it time, but I am so bummed about the difference between my 2 breasts. My right breast is becoming nice and round, however my left breast is still droopy. I'm just scared the implant isn't going to come down and fill it in. I'm only 13 days out.. so it's still SOO early in my progress. But, I can help but being concerned. Here is my most recent picture. Lovely bandaids over my nipples. Those things are still so ugly. So much more healing to do with them lol.

Hey there! I am sorry to hear that you are going through the post surgical ups and downs. You sound a bit similar to how I did a while ago.. i may or may not have told you.. I had two breast surgeries close together.. I was unhappy with the shape/projection of my first set and at 6 months I had a revision to upsize, thought I was happy and thought they would Change in shape, but that was not the case :( I too came out of my 2nd surgery (my revision was basically an implant exchange) with pretty much no pain compared to my first surgery and didn't really even need my pain meds. I bring this all up because i hear so many women trying to avoid the scars from a lift or like me were never educated on all of the reasons or benefits and here I am on my third surgery and I'm getting a lift with smaller implants. I could kick myself for all the money wasted over the last year in a half over this journey and wish I had known to get a lift in the beginning because the results are worth it and will last much longer. I sincerely hope that you end up happy with your results, unfortunately for me even a year later mine really haven't changed since the first month after my implant exchange :( I definitely don't say any of this to not give you hope or keep a positive outlook, just trying to let you know you aren't alone as I can relate to the disappointment you are feeling and the frustration that comes along with trying to remain patient with no changes! Keep your head up :)

I'm sorry you had to go through so much :( a lift was never brought up. He did my measurements and based on those it was not needed. My husband told me that my breasts were always different sizes but I never really noticed before. I am just going to give it time and see what it looks like after a few months. We definitely don't have the finances for another revision so I just have to be hopeful.

I know how stressful the thought of that is!! It's almost a little depressing if you ponder on it too long. Neither of my last 2 surgeons said I needed a lift and then when I consulted with different drs around the area and showed them my pre op breasts, my first set and my current ones they all said immediately that I should have had a lift from the beginning which I didn't think I did because they weren't saggy and pointing down, but now with my 700cc implants I have learned that the reason he used such large ones was an attempt to fill and "lift" the tissue, which unfortunately looks ok temporarily but won't last long :( for me though they just look over stuffed! I get so mad thinking about how much I've spent and the fact that it won't last forever and eventually will need more work down the road!

Good luck with your recovery, try not to worry or stress, especially with the holidays around the corner, you never know how much they can change even a whole year from now! I know even mine at 9 months post op with my revision still changed! Not much as far as shape or appearance, but they got softer and the lower outer sides may have filled out slightly more.. So there's still hope, you are early on in the game :)

Thanks lady!! I'm just going to stay positive. I truly trust my surgeon and know he's one of the best. So, I'm sure my end results will be amazing. I am just one of the most impatient people I know :)

Girl try and stay positive! I got an implant revision with pocket modification (I went from 375cc's to 315 cc's, so my pocket which was already over dissected was made smaller during the revision) on Dec 7. I'm 3 weeks post op and my boobs looks so crazy right now but my doc says it takes minimum of 4-6 months to see real results for settling. You may still be fine, you're super early in healing. I'm frustrated too and scared thinking oh gosh what if they don't get better because they haven't changed at all since post op but I know they will based on my doctors info. Hang in there!

Feeling great

Hey ladies! Just a quick update. I had my first post op appointment yesterday and was told everything is looking great! One breast looked slightly larger than the other but she said it's just do to swelling and such so not to be concerned. I have had no pain in my breasts surgery day, which has been amazing. My nipples however are more sensitive. My "super glue" on the nipples already started coming off, so the scans were rubbing on my bra which as you can imagine did not feel good. So, the nurse put some surgical tape over them yesterday. (Not looking forward to that coming off!) Today was the first day I looked in the mirror and actually loved what I saw. It's definitely a process for your breast to form into the beautiful shape and size you imagined. So that gets me excited because I know as the weeks and months go bye I'm just going be even more happier.
Oh, I will say, I have been extremely backed up since surgery. That's been the worst part of this whole process. So yesterday my nurse recommended a colon cleanse and I'm already feeling relieved.. thankfully!! I will update with a picture in the next few days!

You look fantastic!! Lucky that you didn't need a lift! Wishing I could have gotten away without. Only because of the scar, but so happy that the girls high and on point now!

Still feeling great. I only took 1 pain pill today. I'm sure I probably didn't have to take it but I didn't want to risk not taking it and then wishing I would have later. My left breast seems to look a little.. longer? Than the other. But, I know in a few weeks they are going to be beautiful. :) also, wanted to make note that with my nipple reduction, I have not felt a single bit of pain or discomfort in the nipple. I wish I could fast forward a few weeks to see my end results.
