Lip lift with Dr. Mascaro

WORTH IT
I had a lip lift with Dr. Mascaro in March and I can’t believe it took me so long to find him/the procedure. I couldn’t figure out why my mouth didn’t look as full and feminine as I wanted it to, even with fillers. Finally, I discovered the lip lift and after thoroughly researching doctors, I decided Dr. Mascaro was the one.
I had a FaceTime consult with him and he was thourough, mentioned the ratios of my face as they pertained to the operation (which I hadn’t thought about- for example my chin length determining how much we could take off) and he listened to every question I had.
I flew across the country and after some nervous preparation, the procedure was done! I had two procedures at once so I took a little longer to heal, but I’m loving the results. I’ve asked him a million questions post-op and he always responds with a reassuring and knowledgeable answer!
I highly recommend him if you are thinking about a lip lift. Totally worth it!

I am considering doing the same.
You said swelling took a longer time before it went down because you had them at the same time. How long did you have to spend in isolation?
Also could you tell us how many days/weeks post op are the pictures you posted?

I spent a week there before I flew home. After that it really was just residual bruising on and below the nose that was an issue. I did have trouble smiling- still tough as the incision still feels « tight ». I think that’s due to a more limited blood supply from doing both procedures at once, but it’s a trade off! Personally I’d rather combine healing time.

I work remotely so it fortunately was very easy for me. If you work with people up close and you do both procedures at once I would honestly take off two weeks! You could look presentable in a photo before then but may look odd when you speak. That’s just how it was for me— you could heal faster!

Hi, there is only one photo of your mouth here, I am also getting both procedures done with dr m Nd lots of photos of the nose will be helpful for me. I know he in incredible with ll but I don’t know a lot of his rhinosz. Thank gou

Hi, I think your surgery looks fantastic, I just wanted to ask you, what was the other surgery that you had? Did you have the lip lift surgery with local sedation or general anesthesia? How long did it take? Thank you.

Thank you! A tip plasty (refinement of the nasal tip). Because of that I was fully sedated. If itt’s Just a lip lift you can have it done with local anesthesia!

I would like to have a tip pasty too, are you 100% happy with the result of your nose? Do you mind telling me how much did you spend in both surgeries? Thank you again, I would be flying from NJ, I am surprise I could not find any pics in dr. mascara's web site. I wonder why?

Yes, I am. He had lots of photos to look at in-office. Some places prefer to do that. I am still healing but very satisfied. Tip takes longer to heal than anything else, I’m only a month out. But looking great and seeing the gorgeous shape reveal more and more as swelling goes down!

Ah, I paid 2,500 for lip lift and 3,000 for tip so 5,500 total. Anesthesia on top of that as well since it wasn’t just a lip lift.
