Had a consult to tighten loose skin...set surgery date....Went in to tighten up loose skin and came out looking like this.... can someone let me know what treatment would repair the damage....i had consults with severeal doctors and it seemed to be a simple procedure....i had no idea circulation could be compromised during surgery from pulling too tightly....

A procedure to only excise excess skin after weight loss, childbirth, etc., should use a horizontal incision below the bikini line. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at but I would like to offer some advice:
Find the best plastic surgeon revisionist you can find and then find two more and then after deciding what to do, go back to the original surgeon and ask for a refund. I can't imagine why you were charged so much for such a simple operation. Take lots of pictures and report the doctor to your state's Composite Board of Medical Examiners (or whatever it's called in your state). I have never in all my many years of researching tummy tucks, etc., heard of a vertical incision. A really good plastic surgeon can perform miracles revising scars. Just do your homework in finding someone. Realself is good to search and ratemds.com is also good. Best of luck.

So much money almost $12,000 for a tummy tuck. I saw the one picture in my email, but no pictures are showing here. The one picture is real horrific to say the least. A vertical incision that is open and thick. Even the belly button is not right. My God! I am so sorry for you. This should never have happened. I don't like my scar either, but this is unacceptable. You are so at risk for infection. Please keep this incision clean. It you develop a fever or discharge, pain, an accumulation of fluid go to the emergency room. You say your Doctor is a perfectionist? His work shows he is not. He hacked up your stomach. I pray you heal. This scar is going to be very visible even with time. I want you to know the truth. I don't mean to upset you. I am thinking of a tattoo for mine. Maybe you an get one too later on. A scar revision may make yours worse. God bless you. I hope you heal fast.
I don't see the pics that Kate Bad and CubanBooty are referring to? Am I missing something?
