Wasted $34,000 ! ..VERY UNHAPPY
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED….BE AWARE !
I’ve WASTED $34,000!..
and 3 + YEARS of my life with stress and anxiety trying to get an acceptable result …
.. I’ve been DECEIVED and BETRAYED
… I’m left STUCK with the very AGING ,haggard looking MARIONETTE lines around my mouth , WORRY lines between my eye brow and a BAG under my left eye that wasn’t there before !
At this point I’d be very embarrassed to tell anyone that I had spent $34,000 to have a mini face and neck lift .. Not one person has even noticed !! .. I was looking forward to “ What have you been up to? You look terrific !! Have you been on vacation??” .. but Nothing !!
.. also celebrating getting on with this part of my life and resuming my modelling.,
.. what was supposed to me a luxurious treat had been a long slow torture .. Hell .

.. I believed and trusted that I was hiring Torontos “TOP PLASTIC SURGEONS “ .., most advanced surgical techniques and technologies .. as advertised
** I have since learned that most Plastic Surgeons ONLY recommend a FULL FACELIFT to people of my age group ( 65+)
. Over the years with other Plastic Surgeons Ive had several very successful plastic surgeries done
(1)1977 nose job, Dr R Storey Fenton ( I referred 3 patients )
(2)1980 breast augmentation, Dr William R N Lindsay (I referred 3 patients )
(3) 1984+Lip augmentation ,
Dr Sonia La Fontaine
( I referred 5patients)
(4)2000 undereye surgery , Dr Solomon (5)2003) Permanent makeup,
various technicians
(6) 2010+ , Dr Nino Kuzmar facial tightening /resurfacing /facial filler /injections...
…. ( recommended 4 patients )
(7)2015 Laser Facelift Dr Nino Kuzmar ..
all with pleasing results .. I understand to not expect perfection .. I don’t .. but I do expect to be at least satisfied that the best effort was made .
. July 2020 I had “ deep plane mini face and neck lift”done by Dr Steven Mulholland …. he recommended 2 different types of procedures .. I chose the second one .. ($5000 more than the first one … I WANTED THE VERY BEST RESULT !.. ITS MY FACE !!
I chose - Temporal Extension Composite Deep Plane Face and Jaw Line Lift with Anterior Platysmaplasty, Neck Lift , Facial Fat Grafting, Facetite Morpheus Fractional RF/CO2 Laser Resurfacing Wrinkle Reduction , Local and Oral Sedation , Overnight stay
the short story is that there were no complications , no infections and incision's healed well .. however things were looking pretty good for the first 6 weeks but as the swelling went down it was very apparent to me that the surgery had not been a success .. the marionette lines around my mouth and worry lines between my eyebrows were still there .. * these were the very things that I was very clear to point out that wanted addressed from the very beginning *.. the very things that make me look old and haggard .. I have always had a good bone structure /fine features .. I modelled since my 20’s ..
.** at this point in my life ( 65+ I wanted treat myself to a freshened up appearance to move forward into this new final phase of my life .. I wanted the outside ( physical ) to better reflect my more youthful feeling inside ( spiritual ) ..very important at this point of life **
.. I also am waiting to resume my modelling as a mature model .
…after a couple of attempts by Dr M to put filler in my face and cheeks it was still obvious that things we not looking good as they should be .. after 3/4 of a year trying to get an appointment with Dr Mulholland to see about what can be done I was told that he was “putting down his scalpel to pursue a NEW business adventure in California .. the next time I called to try to see him he had gone to California .. I FREAKED !!
.. after a couple of months I was seen by one of the Spamedica nurses here .. she took notes and photos which she sent to Dr M in California … Dr Thomas Bell was given permission to do a revision surgery ..which He did six months later (August 2022)
…** he did NOT do ALL of the procedures that were done in the first Dr M surgery ).
..again ,thankfully no complications /infection and good healing .. however the main concern ( marionette and worry lines were still very evident ) .. Dr Bell gave me another half year timeline when he he would consider doing further improvements .. (April2023 ) I had a lovely evaluation consultation appointment where we discussed my outstanding concerns and what procedures would best address them .. the meeting felt warm, friendly and I left feeling assured that at last the final result was going to come to a happy completion … Dr Bell said he would get back to me .. he left the room ..
next day I got an email with a list of procedures AND a list of “preferred Patient prices $ “ .. I was told that I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT MYSELF !!!
.. I felt that I’d been slapped in the face .. absolutely BLUDGEONED .!! ..Deceived! Betrayed! .. Deeply Hurt ! Ripped Off !
I paid DOUBLE for the “Mini Face /Neck Lift” that many competent Toronto Plastic Surgeons charge for a “FULL FACELIFT !!”.. and I’m now left on my own ..
I have since learned that most Plastic Surgeons will ONLY recommend “a FULL FACELIFT for clients my age .!!
.. I’m DEEPLY UNHAPPY with the time this has taken out of my life and the massive anxiety and stress trying to get things done in a satisfactory manner

“TOP PLASTIC SURGEONS “in Toronto ..in doing so there is an expectation that things will turn out VERY WELL in alliance with the experience (25 years each ) the skill and expertise and the Excellent Reputation of Both Dr Mulholland and Dr Bell .. ..

I have been left heartsick and abandoned without hope .. I want my face ( exterior ) to mirror my interior ( youthful spirit ) .
