Almost 6 weeks post op
Just another updated progress pic. I’ll be 6 weeks post op on April 29. Still swollen especially on the left but everything is healing nicely. All stitches have dissolved from behind my ears which seems to be the taking the longest to heal. I was sooo happy to finally be able to color my roots yesterday! Definitely had a lot of “tinsel” going on that wasn’t matching my new look!
2 weeks post op
I am now two weeks since my surgery. All of my stitches are out except for a few dissolvable ones behind my ears. Under my nose where my stitches were from the lip lift is still red and a bit irritated in one spot and my forehead on the right where I had the brow lift is still pretty bruised and irritated in the hairline. I am still really swollen and not ready to be seen in public but I decided to try and style my hair for the first time and look somewhat halfway decent for my poor fiancé! I am going to be honest I’ve been a little freaked out and scared about how I’m going to look in the end when everything is healed. It’s hard to look at yourself swollen and beat up looking but just putting on a little bit of lip color and a little concealer under my eyes and nose and doing my hair has given me a little bit of a preview of what is hopefully eventually going to be a really great out come.
