I had a DP FL/NL October 2022. The photos below are my preop consultation and my 1-year postop consultation. My before and after.
Can you tell which one is the before and which one is the after?
At my 1 year postop he said he would do a revision free of charge. We scheduled it for the following month. When I went in for my preop appt his wife who works with him said she wanted me to try EmFace first. Side note- at this appt she picked out my “after” pic as being my “before”. I really didn’t think EmFace was going to do anything for me but agreed because everything was free of charge and I figured it couldn’t hurt. Scheduled all the sessions of EmFace followed by a preop appt 9 weeks after the last session, with the revision appt a week after that.
Get to the revision preop appt and the he tells me there is nothing he can do for me. There is no excess skin to pull tighter and if he does I might look worse. Maybe I can do a little Botox in the neck bands. I LOOK THE EXACT SAME IN MY BEFORE AND AFTER!
Choose your surgeons wisely. If you are in the DC/Baltimore area do NOT choose Dr. Salman Ashruf for facelift/necklift procedures. A waste of 14k.
I used their photos for consistency. They took them, same format, same lighting. I added neck photos I took at 8 months for a different view. He told me I could maybe just do a little Botox
