The surgery was about 3 hours and the recovery was about 2 weeks. I had a nose bandage for 2 weeks but this was essential to assist with healing. At the beginning I wasn't bale to taste as I had nose plugs inserted. They were removed within a week. The nose is healing well and the scaring is slowly disappearing. I was bale to return to work within 2 weeks.
