Dr. Gouverne and His Staff Are Awesome! - Corpus Christi, TX

I knew I would need a hernia repair after my twins, and decided to undergo a full tummy tuck and breast augmentation with Dr. Gouverne. First, our initial consultation was great- all of his staff is welcoming, pleasant, and kind. Dr. Gouverne himself is very experienced and welcoming- you can tell right away that he understands a woman's motivations for plastic surgery are very personal. He was also extremely kind and welcoming to my husband, who accompanied me. We left thinking we'd discuss the options and go from there. I scheduled another consultation with a different doctor who was decently professional and attended that consultation alone. When I initially decided to have my surgery with the second doctor (I don't know why- maybe because he was so conservative and I was scared of surgery) I made an appointment for that doctor to meet my husband- I'm glad I did. He acted like we were bothering him. It was a complete turn off, and I returned to Dr. Gouverne to have my surgery scheduled right away. Dr. Gouverne's staff makes sure you're completely ready for your surgery- no question or concern is belittled. They are extremely professional about your after care, and provided my husband videos and literature to stay up on my care. At the pre-operative appointment, I was super nervous. Dr. Gouverne came in smiling and made all my nerves just vanish. He is very steady, calm, and attentive- great bedside manner. On the day of my surgery, I could tell he was well rested and super focused- it made me feel great about the surgery. After my surgery, his office was extra attentive. At every visit the doctor has seen me personally- this is not a place you will go to and rarely see the doctor. One of the things I adore about him is that he is clearly proud of his work. It makes me feel secure and safe during my recovery that he himself is happy with his own work on my body. He also makes a point to always be respectful of you while he examines you- this is not a doctor who just sees you as a body he operated on, and he's always super kind to my husband. Overall my results are AWESOME. My breast size, feel, and placement are all perfect and I love the curves of the tummy tuck. My healing has been great, and I'm impressed by his skill at the tummy tuck incision and placement. Just two weeks after surgery, I am delighted with the results. If you're hesitant to choose a doctor in Corpus Christi, don't be. We thought I would need to go to Houston or San Antonio to have these great results. I'm so glad I chose Dr. Gouverne and decided to stay local.
