I have always been stuck on how awful my profile is and how horrible the under the chin/neck bulge is . Even at skinnier weight I have always had the neck fat to grab. Cameras catch it at the wrong angle many times and I look like a big fat face! So I was motivated to finally do something about it. I had treatment one just today, October 8.
The experience was very uncomfortable. I coultn' move and I had the device weighing down my neck, felt like a truck was parked on top of it. And not only that, I forgot to remove my hair tie so I could feel the back of my head just digging straight into that. And eventually I felt that part of my head was going numb too! I managed to remove hair tie with the device on luckily. And I didn't break the no talking rule. Otherwise, I kept very still.
I am looking forward to treatment two in December.
FYI I did two sides of my under chin - 45 min a piece.
Will update more soon!

Can I ask how much it cost?

Oops! I'm so embarrassed. You said! $1100 for both rounds. Got it.

:X Actually it was $1100 per treatment, I bought the 2 together for $2200, sorry that is confusing !

BTW I attached reciept of my treatment to this post (not sure you can see it) but that is the invoice before I paid - I was able to get a good special where they deducted a ton off the treatments for buying the 2 together so it brought down to $2200 for the 2 :)

Day 2 Post-Treatment

Still sore and numb to touch while massaging the area. I massage 2x a day for 10 min at a time. I am using a massager wand for 5 mins and then using hands for the next 5. Going to start a juice cleanse to see if that helps flush the cells quicker and get this swelling down. Been trying to drink a ton of water.

Okay ! I found a video closer to the day I got first treatment, this is a few days prior!
I wanted to be sure I added this in so we have a better comparison to go by. I can't wait until the practice gives me more official photos to share. Until now you'll have to deal with my horrible fuzzy inconsitent angles !haha

Thanks for the awesome details and pics. I'm excited to see your results. I'm supposed to get CoolSculpting in a couple days and I wondered how you feel afterwards? Pain? Bruising? Soreness? Thanks so much!

Hey! I'm excited too! Not too noticeable yet in profile comparisons but I definitely see the difference in videos of myself comparing berfore/after. I think I have a pocket more in the middle whereas before the fat was kinda stretched from jaw to jaw line...so that seems to be much reduced now. I am only 2 weeks post so we'll see over the next month. I do second treat on 11/19! I certainly feel like I look more sculpted now and definitely more defined jaw area! I also take Boiron Arnica Montana pellets to reduce swelling. I did not have any bruises also due to starting the Boiron a few days prior to treatment and continuing it for a week after. I did have numbness in the under chin /neck area for maybe a little over a week? I don't have it anymore now! :) Pain was mostly felt directly afterwards when the massage was done to break up the frozen fatty area. That was the worst of it. Massages done on my own time were no where near that pain. So worth it!

Thanks for the details. I really appreciate it. My CS got rescheduled from last week to next month. I'm sad and relieved all at once. I'm nervous about nerve pain afterwards. Did they recommend you massage on your own too?

Oh yes! The worst of the pain is only immediately after and it is only for 2 min...aside, no serious nerve pains for me , just numbness. Just make sure you use Borion Arnica Montana pellets and the Arnica gel too to control swelling and to prevent bruising ( I had no bruising at all!) ...Don't be too nervous about the pain after - the treatment itsself is uncomfortable and make sure you are not wearing a hair tie, but that wasn't so painful. The pain afterwards I would rate 5 or 6 out of 10...but nothing to get too worked up about , it is very breif. The massaging at home is 2x a day and is not even close to that kind of pain - just weird because you are massaging on a numb area. That was not really pain for me. The numbness disappeared after about a week. Good luck!!
