My saline implants were 23 years old and looked...
My saline implants were 23 years old and looked great. Then suddenly one deflated (in less than a day), thus they both needed replacing. I shopped around for a good plastic surgeon (ps) in the greater Boston area, but was not really satisfied with anyone. One would think this is a simple procedure but I was coming up empty. I was about to get on a plane to fly across the country to my original ps to get the job done, but last minute met with Drs Seckel and Narasimhan.
They were very informative about the replacement procedure which is slightly different than a first-time augmentation. They did not oversell anything, gave me the pros and cons of saline vs gels, essentially just what I was looking for in surgeons. With their information, but no pressure, I opted for gels. Wow!! I was happy before, but these babies are even more beautiful, natural, and perfect (and modest, not sleazy). I was rather firm that I wanted my breasts to be symmetrical and even, and I think they used a level, because they are fabulously symmetrical and even, barely a scar under each, not too big, and very very natural. The post op visits were a piece of cake. I was lightly working out 2-3 days after surgery, full-on within a week. Great work, and I highly recommend these artists. I'll be back for other work.
