Russian roulette
So I’m my opinion bbl is like Russian roulette it can work for 9 people and not work for 1, so it’s definitly a personal decision that you really need to think out properly.
Mine didn’t go plan.
When I was in DR I had a really bad temperature that the princess recovery house staff and dr Mallol said was normal. So I would take paracetamol throughout my stay to control my temperature.
When I arrived home from DR I didn’t feel right And my instinct told me to go straight to the hospital here in the UK. They ran blood tests and my infection markers were extremely high, from there it was down hill. I spent 2 weeks and 2 days In hospital 10 days of those I was in high dependancy unit, I had 5 blood transfusions and 3 surgeries to drain infected fat.
When I came out of intensive care I couldn’t walk and thank God I learnt real quick, I still struggle.
Sleeping at night is the worst.
I did messege DR Mallol whilst I was out there and he was very insensitive his concern was maintaining results. Not the fact the Drs here in the UK kept telling me it’s life threatening. I was blocked from the face book group where I had posted that I had an infection.
The reason why Mallol has so many reviews on RealSelf is because about 5 days after your op he asks you to do it, really reviews should be done after the healing process.
When I sent Mallol a picture as proof that I was in the hospital because I was laid on my stomach his response was “it must not be that bad then if your on your stomach” ..... what a pric*.
No I wouldn’t recommend Mallol because when sh+t hits the fan he’s MIA.
I stayed at princess Recovery house. DISGUSTING. We would go 2 days without it being cleaned, and you could see blood poo and [RS bleep] in the bathroom, only 2 staff members speak English, imagine the frustration. I question wether they are properly trained nurses or just there for image.
My drains were killing me and I was told the massuse Naiko was trained in removing them, I consulted the doctor and he was ok with Naiko removing mine a day early, even spoke to him on the phone. This guy baught communal scissors and a dirty stool to remove my drains, I will attach pictures. I cleaned the scissors with alcohol wipes and he was visibly annoyed by this. I explained that it’s my body that he is going to use it on so shouldn’t take it personal. He removed the drains. And the proceeded to fold gauze on the dirty surface. I told him that was unhygienic and I would give him clean gauze out of a packet, he was annouyed wth me, so I told him that he can get a nurse to help, he kissed his teeth at me. I told the manager that I didn’t want to deal with him again on my stay.
Infection control at Princess Recovery is no good, and it doesn’t help with the fact that you are already doing a high risk surgery.
I’m alive and recovering, I thank God. But ladies think very carefully about the decision you make, and decide wether bbl in DR with Mallol is for you. I now have 5 incision sites on my waist thigh and left bum I hope the scars fade.

Can’t type much because I have no energy, but I have a very bad infection due to the surgery, and I am being treated in the UK, didn’t feel 100% in DR but when you them they say it’s normal, thank God I’m back in my country and getting treated. When I sent Mallol a picture to show that I was on oxygen and IV antibiotics, his response was, it can’t be that bad because I’m lying on my stomach!
