WORTH IT
I am 27, 5'9" and about 170 lbs (I lift weights a lot so more of an athletic frame).

In 2016 I had a ba with 400 cc silicone (I believe they were moderate plus profile) under the muscle. I had NO IDEA about how different amounts of ccs or different profiles looked and didn't have a "wish" photo. I was afraid of looking too big/fake so my Dr. made the best decision for me based on these factors. Surgery went smoothly, done on a Thursday - back to work on Monday. Super thankful for no complications whatsoever.

After everything settled and healed I wasn't fond of the aesthetic results at all. I ended up with a slight double bubble (all I see when I look in the mirror even though in some lighting you really can't tell) as well as what I feel are slightly laterally "displaced" implants. At this point I realized I obviously needed to fix the double bubble since it bothered me so much and after learning more about cc volume and profiles, I actually wanted quite large moderate/moderate plus profile implants to better fill my chest.

I got a couple second opinions from other surgeons and they both suggested high profile - which doesn't make sense, because they will be melons on my chest in order to get the implant width I want. One suggested scoring on the original breast fold to loosen it and fix the double bubble. The other suggested something similar as well as somehow decreasing the size of the pocked on the outer edge to help with the lateral displacement. Ultimately, due to cost and having zero surgical complications during my first ba, I decided to go back to my original Dr. with this advice and go with whatever he suggested.

We decided on what he calls an "inferior wedge lift" as well as 700-750 cc moderate/moderate plus profile implants (I forget - but not high profile). My revision is on Feb. 15th and I am SO EXCITED. I am kind of nervous that 700ccs is HUGE but hopefully it will be perfect. Now I kind of want to look like I actually got an augmentation, where as before no one would ever even have a slight question because it looked so negligible with a sports bra and tank (my usual outfit).

I will keep you all posted!!

We have very similar "stats" and I was in a very similar situation going in for my revision 2 years ago... size and displacement were my biggest worries!!! Check out my profile, hope it will help!

Hi, I had recently 800cc silicone HP Mentor and it's not huge on me 5'6'' 150 lb. But, silicone is realy the BEST. It's impossible to know if it's my breast or implant. Wow !! Before I had Mentor HP 500cc (water!! no no no). My breast change D for DD it's perfect. None of my friends saw the change and I told nobody about it.

Good glad it’s all good but take it easy I’m 525cc very much the same shape and wanting a revised set of 800 I’m also around the same weight so I can carry a large size but the same thing happened to me I think I got just round mod Saline I didn’t know I could ask for different styles and there the same price But the doctor did tell me to go with around 650/700cc and I should a listen the first time

Magstrant dear, I just put 700cc under muscle silicone and liking how it looks so far. Would you be so kind to post a picture of your implants? I love stories involving large implants, there is not a lot of us out there. Best wishes!

I got 700cc and it is not too large at all - you will be just fine!! Saw your updated images and the change is very noticeable already!! QUESTION: How did it cost you the revision, versus the original BA? Most doctors don't charge for a 1 year revision (or they only charge for the anesthesia). Best wishes!! :)
