Well I'm almost 7 weeks P.O. My belly button is still not healed, I also have irritated the skin around my belly button because of using band aids to cover my belly button after cleaning and putting neosporian on it. So not only is my belly button is icky looking it looks like I have burns on my skin.
Today will be my first time stretching and massaging my healing wounds. Not sure if its going to make a difference, however Google seems to have positive things to say about doing it.

Going in for my 6 weeks checkup. Pain has nearly gone completely, I am still wearing the binder but not all the time. I am ok with the how my tummy looks after the surgery. I just have 2 concerns at the moment. One is on both sides of my tummy tuck scar is extremely hard. I mean almost rock hard, so I will be asking Dr. Sexton about it. My navel still has not healed and looks nasty and sick. Although this is due to the blood supply from previous surgeries. So I will also be asking about the alternatives for my navel. *It looks like a worm has crawled in a hole and is coiled up in it. In certain areas of my tummy it still feels numb to the touch. These are all minor issues, and I am sure the Dr. will answer all of my questions and assure me of what is going on.

Well although I'm happy that I don't look 9mnthes pregnant. My concern lies with my belly button (being dead tissue)..the stitches are healing great from hip bone to hip bone but my belly button looks nasty, white, and infected, although the Dr warned me about this because of previous hernia repairs, every visit is "we'll have to wait and see". I go next week for my 6 week checkup and hope to find out options. It kinda defeats one of the purpose of having a tummy tuck if your belly button looks like a maggot worm lives in it. Not at all my surgeons fault, just disappointed.
