Goodbye to my RS Friends
murphusSeptember 22, 2015
WORTH IT$16,000
I wanted to take the time to say goodbye to my true RS Friends! It certainly has been 'real.'
First, I wanted to say that my comments are purely my personal opinion, based on fact finding, which are protected by the U.S. Constitution First Amendment (freedom of speech, which extends to the internet). I came across some marketing materials that featured pictures from RS users. The skin cream featured testimonials that represented women that had used this 'miracle' cream, when in fact they had surgery to achieve the results. This is called false advertising. However, there are 'loopholes' apparently in the privacy agreement that provide RS with much 'latitude.' I find this very disturbing and have chosen to take my pictures down, although I'm sure they will always have copies, and no longer engage in this site, providing free marketing research or images in my likeness.
Secondly, I was relentlessly contacted by a RS user, who shall remain nameless, that started intimidating me in a retaliatory manner after my last update. I have witnessed this user making very critical and/or accusatory statements related to other users during the time I have been on this site. Ironically, this person has never undergone any procedures but has a great deal of inside information on how the system works - I imagine this person is an employee or other insider.
Finally, I was acting in good faith as a 'whistle blower' on what can happen to your information once it is out there. Please be sure to read the privacy statements and agreements before engaging on any social networking site. I understand that 'big data' is here to stay, but I refuse to help them (them refers to anyone involved but no one specifically) conduct free marketing research or assist in deceiving the public through false marketing claims - again, I am not saying who did what but beware!
I will miss my genuine RS Friends and am very saddened by this.
Warmest regards,
murphus

9 months post - Final Review
murphusAugust 18, 2015
Hello RS Friends,
Here are my pics from this past weekend. Overall, my PS did a great job and my face looks much softer. I was not blessed with a symmetrical face and see now that my left cheekbone always protruded more. I always noticed my slightly crooked, quirky smile and that my right eye is set a little lower than the left. I decided before my revision that I will not let my 'flaws' rob me of any more happiness! Overall, I am truly blessed in life and love myself!
My final review is that the procedure is worth it - funny how it took me 9 months to come to this, lol. However, the return on my investment (time, money, suffering) did not equal/exceed the degree of improvement I saw because I got this done relatively young - but I knew I personally could not wait any longer! The journey has been a roller coaster of emotions and has taught me patience. Also, any decision comes with tradeoffs - I knew going into this that I may no longer have jowls but would have scars potentially and was ready for that. I also learned that this is not something that you can get done all at once and not touch anything for years. Looking good is a way of life and requires upkeep, just like maintaining a shiny new car or remodeled house. I still think I look much better, have improved confidence and will do it again when the time comes.
If you found my overall Facelift review helpful, please mark my profile/overall review as helpful so others can find this and benefit from it. I hope this does help others thinking about it. :)
Thank you for all your love and support! xoxoxo

You've transformed inner and outer! Congrats on the transformation! Be well and blessed!

Thank you so much! It's all about the inner/outer transformation, but it took me some time to realize that. The positive energy that one projects after getting their confidence back and the positive life that occurs as a result, as you have so nicely stated on your reviews. Your posts really helped get me there :) Many blessings to you too, my friend!

Revision completed on 7/23
murphusJuly 30, 2015
Hi RS Friends!! I finally had my left temple scar revision and fat grafts. I told my PS to put the fat where he felt it was needed since I was there. He added fat to both temples, (more on left side), nasolabial creases, area between chin and neck (they sucked out too much fat with neck lift/neck lipo done in 2011) marionette lines and lower lip (for equal profile projection). I had 3 small incisions to abdomen/flank for fat harvest. This surgery was only 1.25 hrs and I was up to the bathroom 45 minutes after my surgery. This was a walk in the park for me! No complications - yay! Scar revision itself had very minimal pain. The fat injection sites on face/upper neck and fat harvest sites on abdomen/flanks were somewhat painful and tender for about 5 days. I only had to wear the jaw bra for 24 hrs. I didn't have much of an appetite the day of, so I ate soup. I was back to a regular diet the next day. I slept in my own bed the first night, but kept it at a 70-degree angle for first 3 nights. I am now down to my usual 2 pillows and sleep on my back. My PS said it will take ~3 weeks for me to look 'presentable' due to bruising and swelling. So far, it looks like it will be a significant improvement! Tomorrow will mark one week and I will be going back to work - thankfully, I work from home most of the time and won't need to explain the bruises on my face, lol. I will post the after pics in about 3 weeks.

Did you ever link the use botox in the temple area as creating the hollowness? Without re-reading your updates I was just wondering if you get it placed in that area? Btw, you look very very good!
August 2, 2015
Hi Grace, I never thought of that, hmm. I never had botox in the actual temple but had the outer corner of eyes to prevent crow's feet. I will have to ask PS if that would be enough to cause the temporalis to atrophy. Food for thought! Thank you so much for the compliment! :)

I doubt if it was lower and below that muscle that it is contributing to any hollowness. I never realized that it could atrophy the temporalis muscle if the botox is being used to raise the outer brow/outer eye hooding. I just read another review and saw pictures of severe hollowing attributed to the use of it in the temple. Can't think trading one problem for another is a winning strategy....and I was thinking this might actually be something I might try. So glad I ran across that review. Botox does migrate so I'd still ask your PS about your specific situation.

Looks very, very good, am interested in following your fat grafting (I don't think I retained much if any). You've always been gorgeous to me XO

You look great and I am glad everything went so well!!!
