You look wonderful. Thanks for your story. I am adding Atkins protein shakes to my grocery list.
Thank you for the feedback. I enjoy sharing my story and hope it gives others the confidence they need to move forward with their own procedures.
You look great! I wouldn't worry about too much at this point. Still pretty early in the game to see what the final results will look like! I think you look great.. be patient. :)
Thank you for the compliment. Patience has never been my strong point and I am anxiously awaiting to see my results in 3 or 4 months!
Me too! I'm just a little bit ahead of you! One thing for sure, in the NOW, without having to wait..... it's 100% better than it was before!!!!! I don't need a few more months to determine that much! lol Anxious to see the final result ... sure! :) It's coming..... :)
Amen to that! I look 100% better. It's been four weeks and I can not imagine at 4 months. I have been on the elliptical an hour a day and feel great. You must feel fabulous.

Bruising

As you can see, I had very little bruising. I do hope that the lower abdominal area gets smaller. I am not sure if its fat or swollen. I also wonder what type of exercises will help with keeping the shape, I would love six pack abs but I am not sure if that is possible since having the surgery. My other concern is when I went to my pre-op appointments I was told to suck in and that I would be as small as that; well, I am not. I can still suck in a good 1.5 inches in my upper abs. Should I be worried?

Thank you for the feedback. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated.
Abdinoplasty or tummy tuck is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to make the abdomen more firm the surgery involves the removal of execs skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall. This type of surgery is usually sought by patients with loose or sagging tissues after pregnancy and there are some procedures for doing tummy tuck during the surgery vary in scope and are frequently sub divided into categories depending on the extent of the surgery a complete abdominoplasty can take from 1 to 5 hours a partial abdominoplasty can be completed between 1 to 2 hours.
Thanks for replying. My surgery took 2.5 hours. I feel like its not tight enough. I could walk standing up on day 2. I also had very little pain. From what I am reading the way I felt is not the norm. I do have some swelling but am concerned that the left side is not as curvy as the right. I desired an hour glass shape and don't have it. Tomorrow is 4 wks.
Did you have muscle repair? It sounds like maybe you did not?
He claims to have done muscle repair. Why am I not feeling it?
I think your look great and you can have six pack abs, check out this other profile here: "helenes transformation" http://www.realself.com/user/171883
Thank you for replying! I feel better knowing I can have some muscle definition with work.
Congratulations on your amazing result, you look fantastic!
Thank you for replying. I feel fantastic! I am glad I moved forward with the procedure.
Wow u look good girl!!! X
Thank you! I should have done the TT years ago. I feel fantastic and look forward to seeing the results in 3 months. Not bad for a 49 year old. I guess one is never too old for improving their body image.

Concerned about the left side not having the same amount of curve as the right!

I would love a BBL next year. How much body fat does one need to have this surgery?
