I lost about 140 pounds, had scars all over my abdomen from a past surgery, and had concerns about hernias. I had so much excess skin that I kept getting abscesses. I was thin, but I still felt horrible about my body. I didn't even really believe that I COULD feel good about my body. I avoided fitted clothes and swimsuits. Dr. Maier performed an abdominoplasty and worked pure magic. He removed all of the excess skin, several hernias, and got rid of all of the old scars. I did have some issues with healing due to malnutrition, but the staff and Dr. Maier were on top of it all. Any time I needed something addressed, I was seen right away. Although it was a huge procedure with bumps along the way, it is worth it!
