Sliding Genioplasty with Bone Graft and Implant Removal

Dr. Jamali and his team did an incredible job. I am very pleased with my results. I originally came in wanting a removal of my chin implant and having a sliding genioplasty and I achieved the results I hoped for. At my first appointment, we took x-rays of my chin/jaw. He then created a copy of this x-ray and measured, using a protractor, the results that could be attained. We had a discussion about my current concerns and expectations. He was very straight forward. It was a long decision for me, as it took me almost a year to finally decide on having the surgery. Any survey is risky. This is something that you don't want to do again and you should take all things in consideration before having this done. At the end, I decided to have this surgery because I felt comfortable with Dr. Jamali and what the expected results.

My suggestions would be to ask a lot of question. Even dumb ones. Looking at previous results and testimonials can also help you have an idea of what to expect.

The recovery was uncomfortable but not terrible. After 7 months since having my surgery I don't remember having much pain. I made sure that I followed exactly what the doctor recommended to ensure that any complications could be minimized.
