This is my third time, third doctor and third Filler I've tried. I think I may have found my go-to. As much as I loved how Belotero looked, it didn't last long and was a terrible recovery.

So far, Voluma has been great. It is an expanding filler so not much needs to be injected. In fact, we barely used half a syringe. The only issue I have is a few broken capallaries under my right eye. Fortunately, they are fading away. Aside from that, hardly any swelling and no pin point bruising. This could be a result from all the arnica Montana tablets, icing and arnica gel I've used. Still wondering if bruising will appear once I've hit a whole week out from my procedure. Right now, I'm only 5 days out.

It's important for me to remember that my dark circles will never be "gone" with fillers injected, but I can diminish their appearance. I've come to terms with this so I'm happy with my results thus far.

I hear Voluma as a tear trough filler can be risky for various reasons, but your photo looks great! I hope you're still enjoying your results and found a method that works for you.

Fillers officially gone over a year later

I can finally say the voluma has finally gone away after over a year! Awesome that this filler lasted so long but also what a pain it was for me personally since the filler would still swell up every morning! I wouldn’t ever get this type of filler again, but if it works for you, expect it to last a decent amount of time!
