Very Pleased with Dr. Geldner, Highly Recommend. Breast Augmentation Revision Surgery for 34 Year Old Mommy, - Chicago, IL

After consulting 4 different doctors with no avail, I finally found Dr. Geldner by the grace of god. I was looking forward to the consult, it was slotted for an hour, the standard for his breast surgery consultations. Right away, I felt at ease when I arrived. The office has wine colored carpet throughout, and feels like you are in an upscale living room! I met with Marilyn, whom I had spoken to on the phone, Dr. Geldner's assistant. She had been working with him for over 20 years. She is such a sweetheart, and felt like a family member to me. We started off by trying on sizers to see how much volume I was looking for. I wanted a 150-200cc based on that. Then I got to meet the man himself. We discussing my concerns and the best course of action. For the past 15 years, I've had saline implants overfilled to 315cc's. Always unhappy with the size, I wanted to go bigger. I had a noticeably deformity in my right breast, it humped over and the nipple pointed downwards. I had a daughter a year and a half ago, and had some mild ptosis or droopiness from breast feeding. A previous doctor said he would only do it with a lift, which involved vertical scars-something I was absolutely not willing to do. Dr. Geldner said that though the bi plane or dual plane technique, I could get a lift without scars, and correct my right breast. Based on the wish pictures I initially showed him, Dr. Geldner recommended a 550cc high profile silicone gel implant. This would involve lowering my breast crease to accommodate it. All the doctors I consulted before only offered up to 450cc's. I was soooo excited! I gave both Marilyn and Dr. Geldner big hugs before I left because I had so much faith in them. At my pre op, I met nurse Lynn, who guided me though my pre op instructions. I was given a very informative folder of instructions to take home with me. Surgery was 2 weeks later. We took of the bandages only a day later. I was initially worried because they didn't look how I expected. But that was because the breast tissue takes some time to settle. They started to look much better within 2 weeks. They are larger on the sides and underneath, and I am filling out bras and bikini tops really nicely. They are so much perkier! I don't have that droop I had before, the nipple position is actually elevated! It will still take some time for them to completely settle and soften up, but by week 4 they were looking even better. The right breast will take more time to catch up to the left one, because the abnormal tissue will take more time to settle. They look quite big in pictures when I am wearing bras especially, but when I am nude, I still want ultimate fullness. If and when I afford it to, I want to go up about 100cc's. It would be safer to do once my skin stretches out and the new crease softens. I can say as of now that I am pleased with the results and am feeling much more confident. I was lucky not to get any stretch marks from pregnancy, I have a beautiful 18 month old daughter. I am a very fortunate women!
