So I wrote this really long review and It did not go through... So here we go again.
I was SUPER nervous about having two procedures done. I was told that I would receive the best results if I got my abdomen done/BBL and then my flanks and lower back completed in a different session. This would be done under local anesthesia. I worried almost to the point of convincing myself to just have it completed all at once. I finally decided to go with the two procedures. Georgette and Tu who help to run the office and also help in the surgery room, answered all of my questions. They were funny and made me relax as much as I could.
The day of my surgery... I was a basket of nerves!!! The thought of being awake drove me crazy! Georgette kept coming to check on me, and she told me Tu would be in the surgery room with me. They allowed my friend to come in the room with me while I waited. The Anesthesiologist Yosef was the absolute best. He and Georgette gave me meds to calm and hooked me up to the twilight stuff. Dr. Khaliefeh came in to make sure we were on the same page and he even looked at my wish pic again ( I insisted :). He didn't rush me and listened to exactly what I wanted. In the surgery room I remember laughing hysterically. There was little discomfort. I was more ticklish than anything. There were some areas on the side that were a little more sensitive but when I would laugh and say that it hurt the Dr would stop. I also remember someone holding my hand... I said "Tu, are you holding my hand?" He said... "Yes sweetie". OMG They are like the sweetest, most attentive people. They all make you feel so welcomed. In the recovery room I was extremely loopy, but still felt little discomfort. I stayed there with a young lady that was really nice. She and my friend watched me until it was time to go. I was offered a wheelchair, but told the that I would be fine walking (I didn't want to sit on my new butt:) That was actually the easy part!!! They made my experience almost pleasurable (I know some will not believe but it's true, I actually had a good time with them)
THE HARD PART.... So once I was home, I was still in almost no pain. I threw up like 3 times, which wasn't awful being that I felt like I needed to. My worst days were probably the 2nd-3rd day. Standing was fine, but it was trying to lay down and attempting to get up that caused me the most pain. Using those muscles was the worst. Percocet and anti nausea pills helped the most. Also I am someone who normally sleeps on my stomach, so I figured this would be easy for me... NOT!!! After awhile your neck and back are super sore and the thought of trying to get up makes you want to endure the pain. Day 5 I went to work!!!
Things that help... The meds!!! a yoga mat(to put under thighs) for work and driving. Pillows to put under your stomach while laying. OH and get two compression garments( It felt crazy with nothing on for awhile)
My Results... My stomach is flat!!! Love it ! My butt is bigger. Dr. Khaliefeh added fat in really nice areas, but I lost volume that I did not want to loose( he said that would happen but I cant wait until my 2nd . I'm hoping the second procedure allows me to keep a lot more.
Would I do it again...YES!
Cons
Sometimes their office is so busy that you can be on hold for a really long time.
Scheduling for my second surgery has been slightly stressful.
Those are my only cons
Would I do it again...YES!
I hate to not give 5 stars. Surgery day was amazing (ALMOST PAINLESS!!!) I'm just having concerns about my next date and paperwork involved.
