I've thought about doing this since my first one...

I've thought about doing this since my first one was born,as child birth was not good to my body. However after his loss in an automobile accident I can't no longer stand to look at the battle scars he had given me . They reminded me of all the battles I fought for him, and my soldier will never come home, butt I can't get away from -the war when before I could always handle the battles!

The Battlefield Aka- before pictures

I hate what I see when I look in the mirror, and I dont have unrealistic expectations. I just want all that loose skin gone. I know my body shape will never look like a barbie. I'm very square- like, but I know I can improve my self image ,and feel more confident in my own skin.
Once I decided to do this , things have moved really fast. My surgery was scheduled for October the 12, but lucky for me someone canceled,so Dr. Chase had an opening for Sept 21st. So here it is with only 3 days to surgery and I'm getting a little nervous. Any last minute advice would be awesome. I know my angel, Eric, will be watching over me !!!!

1 month post op

Sorry, I've not updated to now, but I had a brain fart and couldn't remember how to get back to update. First off allI have to say is wow!!!! Even with the exparel shot , this was the most painful thing I've ever done. I can't imagine how bad it would've hurt without the it. I was in too much pain too even bother to look at , much less take pictures. At my 1 week check up, my breast were the most beautiful pair I've ever seen. I had a breast reduction with lateral contouring to my underarm.(lipo to underarm ) and my tummy was better than I ever dreamed it would be. The PS said it looked great.

My 2nd check up , still great. I even got all but one of my drains out. I was terrified the pain would be unbearable. I had a BR back in the early 90's, and when they removed the drain, the pain was intolerable. I thought my battle was almost won.....boy, was I wrong!

Week3
The nightmares begin..... I woke up to a ugly yellowish layer over an angry red "ulcer" on my right breast . I called the office, and they had me come right in. They said it was actually very common and not to worry. Then one day I woke up one day to find my bed soaked in blood, and my cg on the side. I stood in front if the mirror and almost fainted. My incision on my right hip had busted open about 5 to 6in. My niece's boyfriend left work to drive me to the Dr, so they could clean it pack it with saline solution and recover it untilli could see the Dr. who was in surgery. I was at the office first thing in the am, where to my greatest fear, they had to stitch it back up. After all that fun, he thought I may have a sarcoma and preceeded to stick a hugh needle in my lower abdomen, and withdrew a yellow fluid that turned red. That's when I turned my head because I started to feel sick!

Week4
Great now my left breast has the ugly ulcer looking thing, but this one is way bigger. My right breast busted open from the back fullness toward my under arm, again about 5 in. The ps said at this point my body is just going to have to heal itself. I dont know if this is caused by my diabetes, which is always under control, or all the stress I'm facing at the moment.
