Sold Venus Viva Under False Claims
I was sold a packaged along with a $954 gift card by the former director of the Charlotte, NC center (Kat) for the Venus Viva treatment under the pretense that it would help me soften my nasolabial folds.
First treatment, January; 2nd treatment, February; 3rd treatment I come in for a before-and-after an appt. as well (since I was seeing NO results whatsoever) with Kat, and I find a new director and along with a new staff--rude new staff might I add, that did not have the decency to apologize for leaving me outside the building waiting for 15min because they BOTH were out for lunch. Granted, my appt. wasn't until 4pm, but give me a break!
Whole "new system," appointments got lost, and etc., so they had me reschedule the appointment with the new director for the following Friday. Comes Friday I find out they had me seeing an esthetician instead (wasted trip!).
I finally come in for the before-and-after consultation along with my 4th treatment in April; and basically she said is that "sadly" the former director had greatly misled me because Viva does NOT help get rid of folds, only filler do, but that it does help with the overall appearance of the skin (which I was not seeing results for either). Nonetheless, she mentioned that they were in the process of including fillers in their services, and that I could opt to use my gift card then, and that she could add additional Viva treatments if needed (since sometimes I could take a few months to see results, and additional treatments). Bottom line, she seemed to genuinely want to help; thus, I decided to continue with Viva.
May, 5th treatment, I got a call asking to reschedule due to renovations at the center. So I called sometime in June, talked to the new Director, and scheduled for the following Friday the treatment along with yet another appointment with her to go over my treatment plan, and to figure out what to do with the $954 on the gift card.
I come in and I was really just looking forward to figuring out what's-next with the director. Forget the remaining treatments. But once again WASTED TRIP cause she was not in that day! The ladies apologized (I think), and said there were going to have her call me back ASAP. But guess what? It had been 4 weeks, and still no word for the director. And mind you, I had scheduled the appt. with HER, not a receptionist, or esthetician, HER! I am a Mechanical Engineer contractor, so every hour I'm away from work is literally money lost.
Fast forwarding, I finally spoke to an "Executive Vice President" on the phone to get the money refunded or at least to get a replacement treatment. An arrogant man by the name of
Tony Zanlungo, who after having the audacity to imply that I was lying about having the gift card, he asked me to email him a copy of it, which I did it... on 8/16/18, and (surprise!) I haven't heard from him since, and today is 9/17/2018.
People, get fillers and/or chemical peels, and your bank accounts will thank you! Don't waste it on LightRx.
