IMPROVEMENT AT LAST!!
I am exactly to the date 3 months post surgery and my legs are looking good. I'm so relieved. I still feel some lumps/bumps under the skin but not really visible from the outside. i still see a few of the darkened spots from entry points but they are lightening as well. I do believe that the Vela Shape intense heat and massage laser helped. I did 6 rounds at 30% of the regular cost. Just FYI, my doctor started to drain the blood and water after the 3 weeks post surgery. If she would have done it sooner, I think that some of those areas would not have hardened but each week i see more improvement. I still have some cellulite but my legs are better than they were before. I will say if you are over 45 and have poor sking laxity, this may not be a good procedure for your legs.
Cellfina Update
Its been 10 weeks since my Cellfina procedure. I finished my 6th and last Vela Shape treatment last week to help with the lumps and bumps I got from the multiple hematomas and seromas complication I got from the cellfina. The lumps and bumps are hard but definitely reduced in size. Some of the lumps are no longer visible but I can still feel them under the skin. I hope that in time they will totally disappear.
Cellfina Complications-multiple Hematomas & Seromas
I went to a very reputable plastic surgeon in Suffolk Cty NY and had Cellafina performed on 5/10/19. I am 52 years old, thin woman, 5' 5 inches and weigh 127lbs in relatively good shape. 5 days postsurgery, I developed seromas on my butt and Hematomas on my legs EVERYWHERE under the skin. Large unsightly lumps-some were the size of oysters & some the size of an avacado pit so my appearance IS worse than the cellulite. Some are soft & some are hard like stones. The Dr aspirated the soft lumps 3 separate times to drain the fluid but the fluid seems to return, but not as much-they have reduced in size somewhat. I am now 4 weeks post op and the Dr started me on Vela Treatments which I have to pay, for but at a reduced cost. She said this should work, but I am skeptical. The back of my legs feel like rocky roads with rocks and valleys. I am afraid I will be left in worse shape than when I started. Has anyone else experienced this, will it go away, is there something else I should be doing? Any feedback would be so appreciated. Help..
