So it has been 42 days since my surgery and I am loving my results. I still have a little bit of swelling in my hips that is going away slowly but surely. I have maintained my eating habits and I have picked up my pace in exercise.

I'm starting to get happy again...My Dr. has been right on, and my swelling is starting to taper. Two co-workers today said how much smaller I looked, and one said she's getting jealous lol. The bruising is almost all faded. I received my stage 2 compression garment in the mail today. I have it on right now, its comfortable, and it fits like a glove. It feels better than the stage 1 garment because it's tighter. I ordered the Marena ComfortWear compression and support garment. It has a brief cut and stops right under your bra line so now I can wear tank tops without a big stage 1 garment arms showing. This one has bra straps. I still have been drinking a lot of water during the day, watching what I eat, but I haven't been for a walk in a few days. I think I will post pics soon....

So it is day 13. I finally got on the scale this morning, and even with the swelling I am down 6 pounds in a week. That makes me happy, but I hope my measurements drop once the swelling starts to taper? I wanted this procedure to lose inches and wear clothes that I haven't been able to, so I really hope my Dr. was right and I just have to be patient. I feel a little better everyday, but definitely swollen. I am still in my stage 1 compression garment 24-7 until my stage 2 arrives, which should be by tomorrow afternoon.

Dr. Edmond Zingaro is a board certified plastic surgeon who has been in this line of work for over 25 years. He started at one of the biggest plastic surgery groups in San Francisco, CA, and currently owns his own practice as well. My work was done by him at Sono Bello in Sacramento, CA. He has great bedside manner, and will answer all of your questions as he has had the procedure done himself. He called me directly no later than an hour I left the clinic to check on me. I have had no bad experiences that others have mentioned probably due to the fact that he has so much experience. I would recommend him to anyone.
