1 month pictures!

Oops - forgot to post the pics!

1 month post op!

I can't decide if this month has gone by fast or incredibly slow! Depends on the day. I am surprised at how much my muscle repair still hurts, especially after sitting for a while, or late in the day when the swelling starts. Is that normal? I also have a love / hate relationship with the binder...it's itchy and bulky, and yet when I take it off I feel uncomfortable and the numbness is really odd. My PS has asked me to wear it 24/7 for six weeks, and then begin to "wean" off of it. I see many different reports on the time people wear the binder. Did any of you have trouble transitioning from it?
Strange - I want to burn it until I take it off!
I think I am a bit of an 'outty' with my new BB! Does the earplug thing really work?
Hope you are all healing well!

3 weeks post op update!

Well I am definately on the good side of this process now. Every day I feel a bit more normal, a little less swollen, and ready for this to be all over.
So many of you have talked about depression and down days in the second and third weeks and I didn't really get why, but the blues do come and go. For me I think it was that parts of my life started to go back to normal, the laundry was all piled up, dinners and lunches still needed to be made - and although I was feeling better - I was not really better.

A piece of paper or pair of socks on the floor stared at me like a challenge - do I bend over and pick it up, or kick it under the bed?! I could definately do more every day - but everything was still an effort.

This is a part if the healing process that you can't forsee. We are all Mom's. We are programmed to get up off that couch and do something - and although my family was great - they were more than happy to relinquish those added duties they took on back to me. It's exhausting!

I just want to jump out of bed,( after having normal, non swollen, good sex with my loving husband!), throw on any pair of pants I own, and feel great. When will that day be coming! !?? Lol

That's my take on the tummy tuck blues...any one else feel this way?
Other than that though - I am healing well! BEST OF LUCK to anyone having their surgeries this week :)
