6 months post op :)
Hey loves!!!
I have been so flattered at the messages you guys have sent me and the sweet compliments. If you read my other reviews and updates, you know I am extremely pleased with Dr. Stanton and his team. They literally have changed my life for the better and I am so grateful lol.
I am at six months postop right now. My scars are healing. I don’t have any pictures right now of the incisions but I can try to get some soon. My scars are still very dark purple color, which is quite normal for my skin. It took my initial incisions about a year to start lightening up, same with my breast implant incisions.
I have returned to all my activities as usual, including lifting weights at the gym and doing hot yoga. In fact, I am currently completing a yoga teacher training class, so that I can hopefully teach yoga soon. I haven’t had any issues with the implants during exercise , if I sit down on a hard floor and lean backward a little bit, I can feel the implants a little bit. It’s not uncomfortable, more, so just a foreign sensation I suppose. This is quickly fixed with a slight change in position.
I have a lot of people ask me if I can still feel the implants. Now that I have upsized, I do feel that I am more aware of them on a day-to-day basis. However, this is something I am more than happy to live with if it means I get to keep the confidence and satisfaction of how the implants seem to balance my body appearance lol.
When you elect to have cosmetic surgery with implants, you are forever changing your body. It can be a bit of an emotional journey processing the differences in how your body looks and feels. To me, my implants, after I have upsized to feel harder, simply because they are bigger implants. To me, it feels like a solid mass, but it merges well with my natural tissues and I’m unable to easily feel where the outline of the implant ends and my natural tissues begin if that makes sense. I suppose what I’m trying to say is that, even though the implants are hard, and are harder than natural tissue, I can’t just easily feel the outline of the implants on my booty when I’m rubbing my booty lol
I would also like to say this, after my first surgery, I would very occasionally get compliments on my booty, and people often told me I looked like I had an athletic bubble butt lol. After upsizing in November, the compliments have gone through the roof, literally strangers, women, so many people walk up to me and will complement my butt lol . Of course this makes me super happy because coming from pancake land, I never ever had any kind of compliments on my booty before I had surgery lol.
I am extremely happy and would recommend the surgery 100 times over. I did extensive “research” into surgeons and medic and plantation techniques prior to making the decision to actually undergo surgery so I do feel like I was adequately informed going into it. It also helps having a husband who is very supportive and encouraging regarding me having this procedure, so I never felt like I made the wrong decision.
After I upsized this most recent time, I sometimes found myself wondering if I perhaps went too big. However, my husband and close friends do often reassure me that my butt fits my body so that makes me feel better. I think my confidence has just continued to grow over time and I’m extremely happy!!
I hope that any of you considering this procedure consider the benefits versus the cons. To me, the benefits far outweigh the cons every single time but I acknowledge that might not be the same opinion everyone else holds. Choosing to have cosmetic surgery is a huge decision in one’s life so just make a list of the benefits vs the cons and make your decision on what you think will benefit you the most! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions. This surgery has changed my life for the better, and I am excited to share my results with you and hopefully ease your mind if you are considering having this operation done. :)

5 weeks post op :)
Hey guys!!
I continually get the same questions so I feel like by starting out with all the juicy info on each post I make, may help you guys find only the info you want. So here goes:
-I’m a 29 year old female, 5”3’, 120 ish lbs
-This is round two for me. My old implants were placed in 2019 and the new ones were placed November 17th, 2022.
-I do not know the number of cc’s in my old or new implants. I do know the old implants offered 3cm of thickness (projection) and the new implants offer 6cm of thickness.
-I paid 12,500$ for round two. I booked my surgery almost a year in advance to allow time for me to finish school and save up the money.
I would 1000% suggest you book way in advance. I started looking at buttock enhancement in 2010 and I have watched prices soar higher and higher even as little as each year. So if you are for sure, go ahead and book! Book a year or more in advance and then you will be locked into the price they quoted you for and it will never go up.
I’m five weeks post op today December 22nd 2022. The last few weeks have been very similar to my last recovery in 2019. I had a five hour flight from LA back home. I essentially just sat on my little neck travel pillow just as I did before, and stood up roughly every 15 minutes or so and the flight was definitely manageable. I didn’t have an upgraded seat or anything, I was just in the normal economy class.
Walking has been easier than the first surgery since day one post op. I noticed I was a lot more mobile this go ‘round. I actually went back to work in my second week post op. I do walk quite a bit at work but I have a lot of time to sit on the computer and document which helped me rest. I sat on my neck pillow during this time and stood up every 15 mins. I wouldn’t advise going back so early and I wouldn’t have if I’d had the option. I was really sore each day after work and worried that I had done too much.
I started taking stool softeners a few days prior to surgery and I will say it helped tremendously. I had no uncomfortable constipation after this surgery like I did the first time lol.
Also, this time I did two sessions of the hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy. You may know from my prior reviews that I am a healthcare worker. Because of this, I try to stay on top of the best therapies available based on the evidence based literature. The studies regarding hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy performed on post op patients has shown extremely promising benefits- faster healing time, quicker time to mobility, better healing scars, etc. I did 2 sessions of therapy and I really feel like it helped. It’s hard for me to know for sure though because since this is my second surgery, it was almost guaranteed to be an easier recovery. The oxygen chamber looks similar to an MRI machine so if you’re claustrophobic, you may not feel comfortable inside.
Basically overall, I am feeling great. My implants are still high and tight and sitting down for longer than 20-30 minutes gets uncomfortable still which improves with positional changes. I certainly don’t feel any pain with walking, bending, or squatting.
At this point I feel like I can give out some friendly advice for you if you’re thinking about having this procedure done. If you are a perfectionist, this procedure may not be a good fit. This is because the surgery will change your body (as with any plastic surgery). For me, even 3 years post operatively, my butt cheeks would get achey after riding in the car in the same position for over an hour or so. Again, this could be mitigated with a simple change in position but my point is, there are going to be plenty of times you feel and are ‘aware’ of having implants.
Another example is, about 3 months ago I was at yoga and developed a sharp pain at the side of my right implant. It was constant and continued for about a whole minute before it subsided. I’ve never ever felt anything like that since having either surgery except for this one time. In hindsight, I feel like one of my implants may have inverted upside down, like flipped around inside the pocket. I never had any residual pain after that and my butt looked the exact same way it alway did when I got home. I’m just saying this to let you know, this is a big change and some people are on the fence about that.
I’d say wait until you are ready to accept any potential bad side effects and have a plan for how you will deal with them if they do happen. Would I go through these two surgeries again to have the exact same results? Absolutely 150% I would. This procedure has changed my life for the better and given me confidence that I never ever would’ve had without it. Weigh the risks versus the benefits, then make the decision :)

Butt implants round 2- upsizing!!
Good morning guys,
Please reference my other review by tapping my username and clicking "other reviews" to see my original buttock augmentation journey from 2019.
I'm a 29 year old female, 5'3", 116lbs. I am now 3 years post op from butt implants with Dr. Stanton. I had 400cc I believe. I am so excited to share that I just went through round 2 and upsized!!
Being 3 years post op also made me feel like I had a solid perception of what and how the implants are generally going to feel for forever lol. I could still lift heavy, do hot yoga, and run with no issues. Sometimes if I sit on hard surfaces (i.e., concrete, asphalt, hardwood, etc.) I can feel them and it's a little uncomfortable, but not painful in any way. Likewise, on long car rides (2hrs or more), my bum will start to get achey which resolves with position changes. So all in all, they've been great for me and I'd do the procedure 1000x over to get the same results.
They've given me such a huge confidence boost. My hubby absolutely loves them, but we both agreed one day I'd go bigger. So I spent the last two years saving up again for surgery and paid this one off a month before hand which was very exciting for me!
So the implants I had, I believe were 400cc's, 3cm of thickness. The new implants are (unknown cc's) 6cm of thickness (a.k.a projection). I'm day 3 post op today and this second go round has been an absolute cakewalk when compared to last time.
Day 1 I was very sore, sleepy from pain meds. I didn't void for 9 hours after surgery which had me concerned at first but I finally was able to go with no issues at all. The new implants, similar to last time, are sitting really high and tight up against my body, but even still I think I'm in love lol.
Dr. Stanton is incredible and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to see him and all the staff again!
