I Had a Not So Good Experience with Dr Fakhre

The experience that I had with dr Fakhre was not pleasant at all, and a year after my surgery, I’ve decided to post my review.
I am from NJ and for a long period of time I wanted to get butt implants but never had enough money so I got a part time to saved my money for the surgery and when I finally had the money, I started my search for a plastic surgeon with great reviews and great skills performing butt implants. I came across dr Fakhre’s website and after reading so many great reviews but none about butt implants I called to learned more about the procedure and mentioned to the person who was helping me that I didn’t find any reviews about butt implants (if I am not wrong her name was Angelica) she said that the dr performed this type of surgery in a regular basis but people never felt comfortable posting reviews about it; I believed what she told me and decided schedule my surgery with dr Fakhre Until today, I so much regret it. He is probably a good surgeon but did not have much experience performing butt implants. He didn’t take more than 5 min on my only in person appointment prior my surgery (that was a red flag but I didn’t see it at the time). All they did when I got there was to play a 10 min video of dr Fakhre talking about the procedure so when he came to the office there was not much to talk about it . I never felt that doctor-patient connection and I went back to the hotel hesitant of getting my surgery done with him but I thought that I was already there and I wanted the surgery so I wasn’t going to cancel it.
So I got the surgery done. The day after the surgery I went to his office for a follow up and when he removed the garment, I looked at my butt, I didn’t like the weird shape that it had, it was to high on top and flat at the bottom… very weird but he said that my butt was swollen and that’s why the shape. Two weeks after he did my surgery I returned back home (NJ) and a few days later, I started getting fluid out of my incision, high temperature and started feeling sick.
I called the office of dr Fakhre to let them know about my symptoms, I really was hoping he was returning my call and tell me I was going to be ok, instead he sent a message with someone from his team saying that I needed to take antibiotics, so I when to get the prescriptions and took them for 4 days but my health was getting compromised and as was getting really sick . I called dr Fakhres office and no matter when I called during the day, they were always saying that either he was on surgery or in a meeting… I ended up at the ER with a bad infection and the doctor told me that I needed to get the implants removed because the incision wasn’t properly closed, one of the implants was exposed and I wasnt doing it I was getting a septic infection. (as I am posting this review I am crying because I really thought I was going to die…) and dr Fakhre and his team were careless about my health. For 2 days I called asking for the doctor and leaving messages, but He did not returned my phone calls and I had to call him from a restricted number for him to answer and tell me that he did everything right and that if I got an infection it was my problem and I never ever heard from him again.
Sadly I got them removed due to the severe infection I got and unfortunately my butt cheeks got deformed after the implants and part of the skin got removed..
Thankfully after six months I fully recovered but my butt looked terrible after the implants and dead skin from the severe infection were removed.
3 months ago I got the surgery redone again but this time with someone really experienced in this type of surgery. If anyone read this review: LOOK FOR A PLASTIC SURGEON THAT PERFORMED THIS SURGERY UNDER THE MUSCLE.AND WITH YEARS OR EXP.
I got it done again with dr Juan Pablo Rodriguez and not only that he has skills, the shape of my butt is beautiful and very natural right from day number one … nothing like what I got done with dr Fakhre .
I am more disappointed for dr Fakhre and his team lack of care for his patients more than I am for what he did wrong.

Juan Pablo Rodríguez is one of the 8 top doctors in Colombia.
My point was that dr Fakhre was 100% careless of me as a person. In my personal opinion, he gets the money, spends an hour in the procedure and after that you are on your on. You are not a patient for him, you are a number!
