Week one
Recovery has been great! The second day in I had quite the headache and constipation- with the help from a little Milk of magnesia, that soon subsided and my tummy is beginning to look better again. Its hard to see all the changes and be happy when you're hld 5-10 pounds of bloat in your belly.
I am just over a week in, I got my stitches removed yesterday ( sorry i realize the pic below my bandage is still on and looks a little gross). I am super happy with the size. If I could give everyone a tip for those who are contemplating size: two things, firstly, STOP ASKING FOR CERTAIN BRA SIZES WHEN TRYING TO DECIDE. It will not help, and truthfully, I even though have decreased half my ccs in my revision - from a 400 cc high Profile, to a 175 cc moderate profile, I can still it into my same bras, so this is a proving the point that a "C" cup can be many things. I was bursting before and now I am delicately filling it out.
Secondly, really talk to your doctors about "bottoming out" from my experience, when it happened to me, it was a hard to find a doctor that spoke honestly about challenges, sizes etc. I do find a lot of doctors are just in it to make a quick sale and will not be truthful about what your body can handle.
Anyways, I will say I have been given the go ahead to sleep on my side and I get to start wearing normal bras in the next two weeks. This road to recovery was so much easier than my first round. I guess your body really doesn't like having MASSIVE implants when you have barely any breast tissue.

Ok, I thought that I would share my story because...
Ok, I thought that I would share my story because firstly, this site has helped me a lot in all my final decisions etc. Secondly, there are too few reviews on small (under 250 cc) I think that its important to break the stigma that implants need to be huge!!!
So here's how I started. In Jan 2015, I went to a few surgeons each recommended 400cc high profile implants. I think that I went into my consultations with the idea that "doctor knows best", well, in all honesty, I should have done more research than just saying " I hope that I am a C cup at the end of this!" Big Mistake.
I went ahead and got 400 cc high profile implants- they were sexy, looked great in Bras but with all honesty, I felt a little uncomfortable in a bathingsuit and in many clothes I looked heavy uptop. This however, was not the only problem. I noticed pain my right breast and it seemed to "bottom- out" slightly. Which increased the look of the breast as well. I went back to my doctor at least 5 times to discuss, he seemed apprensive in making any surgical cuts and basically said that pain wouldn't happen with "bottoming out".
2 1/2 years later, I was in quite a bit of pain, and began to revisit the idea of a revision, with the idea of going with a smaller more natural implant. AHHH what a nightmare, I had so many different opinions from doctors, some said to leave them, some said go slightly smaller, my original doctor basically said that they were great the way they were and to leave them.
I knew that I found the right doctor when his first words were "those are too big for you" and "ofcourse bottoming out would give you pain" FINALLY someone who understood!!! Dr. Harris was a godsend just for saying that. However, his suggestion to solve the problem was the most invasive. He said that I should remove my implants for a min. of three months and let the pocket heal. Then he'd go back in and place smaller implants. This was quite the decision for me, but I decided that it was the best option.
So after this long story, I was certain that I wanted more of an athletic natural look with a lower profile. he suggested a 250 cc mod +, but to me, they still looked too large. My first experience had made me nervious because my C cup that I originally wanted turned into a double D by the time they "fluffed" . I dont care what anyone says certain people get MUCH bigger. the Guidelines of 150 cc make a cup? nope, I got 4-5 cup sizes larger. I went from a very flat 34 AA ( couldn't fill any cup/ didn't need to even wear a bra) to 34 DD ( and I am not talking Victoria Secret Vanity Sizing).
So, after all this, I decided moderate Profile was better for me, my dimensions didn't leave the doctor with too many options either a 175 cc Mod, or 200 cc Mod. Before the surgery, he asked me which he thought that I was leaning towards and I let him decide during surgery. Afterwards he told me he had chosen the 175 cc becuase of the profile and also becuase I didn't want a wide breast outcome ( no side boob for me thanks!)
I am so happy already. Recovery day 1, I went to see the doctor this morning so he could take off my bandage and see how things were. I'm a little swollen, but pain is ok, I can't believe it. I didn't even need pain killers this morning, and I did a 10 km walk with my dog today. My bloated from the meds already, I am hoping this gets resolved quickly, other than that the worst thing is sleeping on my back.
The doctor did mention that recovery would be easier with smaller implants! I can't believe its over! I'll add photos in a few days. Including all befores.

Provider Review
Dr. Harris is Excellent. Kind, he listened and best of all I didn't feel pressured or rushed to make decisions. He even let me take sizers home to get a real feel for sizes.
