Rushed Consult, No Follow-Up, Disappointing Experience

I really wanted to be excited about seeing Dr. Rad. I spent hours preparing for the consult—gathered inspiration photos, medical records from past surgeries, and filled out everything the office requested. I was scheduled for a 5:15 PM consult, but due to a time zone mix-up (honestly my mistake as a sleep-deprived mom of two babies), I missed it. The office called shortly after the time passed, but if they had reached out even a few minutes earlier, I could’ve made it. I apologized immediately and explained the situation kindly, but was told I’d have to repay and rebook, with no flexibility or empathy.

When I finally had the consult, it was rushed and generic. Despite sending detailed background info—including records of a previous brow lift—Dr. Rad offered a one-size-fits-all facelift, brow lift, and neck lift approach that mirrored what you see on his Instagram. He didn’t reference any of the information I worked hard to provide and didn’t ask meaningful questions.

Afterward, I had a few follow-up questions about the surgery plan, and the office told me I’d have to pay again just to speak to him. That was the final straw. This is not how a high-caliber surgeon should treat patients—especially with such serious, expensive procedures. I felt dismissed, not valued.

I’m genuinely grateful I found out before moving forward. I’ve since consulted with another top surgeon who actually listened, answered all my concerns, and took time to follow up. That’s the level of care everyone deserves.
