WORTH IT
Hello all, I love my new breasts and have absolutely no regrets. They’re a bit bigger than I want but I’m on a diet so hopefully I’ll lose some fat there. The scarring is bad but mine are always dark for about a year then lighten. The discoloration from the last post turned out to be from the adhesive and it went away two weeks after removing them and using silicone tape. I’ll post again in a year! Here are some pics:

Thank you for sharing your journey. You have no idea how it helps. I am scheduled to have my surgery on November 11, 2021. Reading your how nervous you were at first (my current state) and how everything went for you and other people's comments, is reassuring. Can you please share/list what scare treatments you are using? Thank you.

Discoloration under left breast

youdontknowmee
Dunno if I should be concerned. It doesn’t hurt and is not warm. I looked in the mirror this morning and noticed this reddish orange color under my left breast. I believe it started yesterday but it’s definitely worse today. I’ve started ibuprofen and fish oil pills again and I know those are blood thinners. Not sure if that could effect healing. Has this happened to anyone? What could it be?

Oh wow I saw your photos, you are going to heal so well! Seriously I had the exact same discolouration. It's just bruising and totally normal. Honestly in 3-6 months you won't recognise your new boobs compared to the "frankin-boobie" stage. You're body knows what to do, you're healing fine

Thank you!!! I'm seeing my doc tomorrow so he can check it out. It hasn't gotten worse so I think that's a good thing. Of course my mind went to every possible bad thing that it could be... thanks for the reassurance!

Thank you for documenting your experience and thank you to all the people commenting. I had mine 3 days ago and every discoloration I see or pain I feel is sending up red flags in my mind. It’s Really nice to see your pictures, the reassuring comments from everyone and your healing progress. Very very helpful. Your breasts look amazing. I hope mine turns out the same

2 weeks post op

Hello! What a journey. This is my two week mark and so far I’m very pleased. My healing has gone so well. I haven’t taken any of the meds that were prescribed, just Tylenol as needed which is stopped after a few days. Notice some scabbing from the tape. Waiting for that to heal. Otherwise I’m pleased! Still feel weird about where my nips are placed and wish they were a bit higher. My left seems lower than the right too. But I’m working on not seeking perfection and focusing on accepting myself. Way better than before. Maybe once they heal and drop they will fill o it more on the bottom anyway. I have no regrets!

I have no clue! I think he also used local anesthesia as well as general, if that's what you mean. Thank you!

Thanks for sharing your journey! Your looking really perky! Your doctor did a nice job. I understand how your feeling about the perfection expectations. My surgery was 1/13/21. I have to give my body a chance to heal. I have the same bruising you do. My surgeon removed about 200cc per side. I had a mastopexy and I didn't have an implant. I am so happy with my results so far.
