It appears as though I had a breast lift, but not a reduction

I think if I had sorted reviews by newest, rather than featured, I would not have come to this surgeon.
I had a breast reduction done one year ago. I had had a previous reduction over a decade ago elsewhere, which had been done very well, but unfortunately due to my young age at the time, my breasts grew back and I needed another. When I contacted the surgeon via the website, I mentioned that I was nonbinary and that it was very important to me to be close to an A cup, B at most. I believe the receptionist Shigeri replied, not the doctor, and that this fact was not relayed to the doctor because it was never mentioned in subsequent visits.
Dr. Wong assured me that we could likely get down to an A cup, and B was definitely doable. I made clear that I was looking to be as flat as possible. I also pointed out the "dog ears" left behind by the last surgeon, and he assured me he could remove those as well.
The surgery itself was uneventful, though it did seem very strange that the receptionist was also scrubbing in to help with the surgery, which was performed in office. It really is a two-person show, as another reviewer mentioned below. Because I had had a previous reduction, I had expected pretty extensive bandaging around the chest - instead I was sent home with two large gauze pads underneath a regular bra. I figured this was just a different style of care, as was the fact that drains weren't used, as they had previously. Of note here also is that the doctor was late both to the surgery and the follow up appointment.
After the swelling had gone down in the next month, I noticed that my old bras still fit. I was basically a D cup, but the nipples were much higher than they had been. It appears as though I had a breast lift, but not a reduction. Some tissue was likely removed, but it is nowhere near the B or A cup promised. Additionally, the nipples being so high looks strange and unnatural, and too much areola was cut out. The nipples sit crookedly in the areolas, and the scars are crooked and somewhat lumpy as well. It is nowhere near as smooth as my previous breast reduction. He did however get rid of the dog ears I had mentioned, so one star for that I guess.
We had a follow up appointment a few months later over Facetime; it was established earlier that the follow up appointments would be online since I am not local. However, this message was somehow lost or not relayed and the receptionist scolded me for the doctor having to come into the office for the appointment when I was going to be calling in remotely (I'm not sure where he was going to call in from if not his office).
Additionally, it has been a year later and my breasts still hurt, and the tissue feels rock hard in some parts. The scars still itch as well. Having had a previous reduction, I knew there would be some pain for a few months, but a year later everything should be healed up.
At our last follow up appointment, Dr. Wong agreed that I needed a revision since my breasts were still much larger than we had planned on initially. When the Shigeri sent the estimate, it had the facility fee as well as the anesthesiologist's fee. There was no doctor's fee, which both Shigeri and Dr. Wong had explicitly stated (see photos). When I followed up to book the revision, Shigeri then said the previous estimate was expired and sent another estimate that was over twice as much, claiming that the 0 charge for the doctor's fee was a mistake, and also that Dr. Wong didn't know about it. I'm not sure which is worse, the lack of communication between the two of them or the rescinding of the original estimate (which was all to fix his original mistake). I tried to book an appointment with the doctor to discuss with this him directly, and Shigeri kept continuing to argue the point rather than booking the appointment. Needless to say I did not book the revision because I was so disappointed in both the first surgery and the quality of care from both individuals. I should say it's pretty telling that whenever I booked an appointment, any time I chose was available, and I never saw anyone else in the office. It doesn't seem that he has many patients. Also, in watching their interactions, it's pretty clear that they do not communicate to one another well.
I am now looking at other options to fix my chest, because I am out over 10 grand, my breasts still hurt, and nothing has actually improved (except for maybe the dog ears on the side). This might be the place for small procedures, but for something as major as a breast reduction, please find another provider.
