A Calm, Cool, and Smooth Experience

In the Spring 2023, I had a breast reduction/lift by Dr. Vath. Aesthetically, Dr. Vath did a remarkable job--astonishing really. I really appreciate how he listened to my desire for what he called a "small and sporty" look and did his best to manifest that desire. I don't think my breasts were easy to augment, as they were sagging heavily and there was quite a lot of skin to remove. But Dr. Vath was able to decrease their size, lift them, and reshape them, and I honestly could not expect a better turnout. I am now 7 weeks out, and the scarring in surprisingly minimal, the sensation has come back to my nipples, and I have minor lingering soarness. I am really happy that I had this procedure done by Dr. Vath.

Other aspects about my experience that might be useful to know:

Pre-surgery: Dr. Vath's communication is quick but not without care. He is confident and immediately gained my trust. All the office folks were nice and all appointments were efficient without long waiting times. I especially appreciate how the office enables you to pick up cancelled appointments of others. I first inquired about a breast reduction in January and my first consultation was originally scheduled for end-of April consultation, but I was able to get in way earlier and my surgery was actually done by the third week of April. Therefore, I did not have to wait long at all to get the procedure.

Surgery: The operation takes place at the clinic, and the nurses seem to have a system down. The nurses were competent, calm, and cool, and I especially appreciated the compassion the anesthesiologist showed, as I unexpectedly got triggered from a prior surgery. He was really, really caring and nice.

Post-Surgery Dr. Vath, and the nurses I engaged with, seem to take a no-nonsense approach to post-care. They told me what I needed to know, answered all my questions, and let me heal independently. I did not have any problems, but I am confident that if problems did arise, they would have handled them with care. Their mantra seems to be "let pain be your guide" for what to do and not to do post-surgery, and honestly that worked for me.

One other note: Breast augmentation has developed its own consumer-based industry, with a multitude of things to buy: bras, lotions, pillows, etc. I appreciate how no-one in his office tried to sell me anything or even recommend me spending money on unnecessary items.

Overall, the experience was really calm, cool, and smooth. I would would highly recommend Dr. Vath without reservation. He kind of rocks. :)
