There Are Not Enough Stars in the Sky to Give Dr Baker the Rating He Deserves

I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for this man. Ben picked up my case after no other surgeon would go near me. I foolishly had implant and uplift surgery abroad that led to necrosis requiring emergency surgery to remove an implant and a substantial amount of tissue and was then treated extremely poorly by a plastic surgeon in the UK which left me psychologically affected and in a position where I was in pain, physically botched and with nowhere to turn.

Ben operated on me in September and has given me my quality of life back - I no longer require a prosthesis, I can swim, I can wear clothing without limitation, I can now make plans for holidays etc with my children and am without the significant pain I was suffering.

With what he had to work with I was prepared to accept anything cosmetically as long as I wasn’t in pain and there might be a chance of limitations to my daily life reducing, but I can hand on heart say that the results have surpassed what I could have ever wished for or thought possible.

It transpired during surgery that the old implant has ruptured and wandered unknowingly so beyond owing Ben my quality of life, I may well owe him my actual life too.

From my first consultation I have been treated with nothing but kindness, support, and demonstrable efforts to go above and beyond for me. I have felt safe, cared for and confident in Ben’s (outstanding) skills the whole way through - he has reconstructed more than just the physical and I will be forever thankful.
